My 4th year working NYCC, a photo dump. Thank you HarperCollins for having me.

I miss my friends and I miss New York so much.

one last @newyorkcomiccon photo dump 🤍📖

the first line of my grad school application essay goes “reading is typically seen as a solitary activity, but it has always been one of the reasons i’ve never felt truly alone”

thank you to every friend, from my early book blogging days and @harpercollins coworkers to my fellow @webtoonofficial ambassadors and the extroverts who’ve adopted me along the way ✨

I got to meet Stephen Graham Jones and thank him personally for haunting me!! (also, his little smirk at the end? brilliant acting work. he’s ready for his film debut.)

thank you SO much to Saga Press for hosting me and allowing me to fangirl over this horror legend & get all my books signed & film a video or two.

also, shout out to Krystal and Jayne for starring in this one. they crushed it, clearly. ◡̈

happy book birthday to Off the Reservation, and you need to read everything Stephen Graham Jones has ever written, actually!

The best part of New York is the people in it. 🥹

Writing this from my couch in California, sad it’s already over. I love you, my found family.

🩸🧛🏻‍♀️📕 happy 50th, Interview with the Vampire! your mid-life crisis is an absolutely stunning special edition.

it was an absolute honor to have been included in a fun, debate-style conversation with three of my incredible bookish peers to celebrate The Vampire Chronicles. it’s now live on the official Penguin Random House channel (and the editing is SO good that even Artemis - who never watches TV - was hooked 🐈‍⬛).

Krystal, Dennis, and Hunter were the best partners-in-crime for this video! there’s so much more of this day that didn’t make the cut, but just know that we were thoughtful, we laughed a ton, and we all walked away with widened perspectives.

this was such a cool way to honor the legacy and ongoing cultural importance of Interview with the Vampire, and i hope you all get a chance to check out the video. ◡̈

about the edition:

Indulge in this decadently styled, special edition hardcover, which includes a foil-printed case, blood-red sprayed edges, marbled endpapers, a new foreword from New York Times bestselling author Leigh Bardugo, and a new afterword from New York Times bestselling author Christopher Rice—plus never-before-seen bonus pages from the original manuscript.
