raw iphone moments from our courthouse wedding weekend in florida!!!! 🥳🥂
this is technically the FIRST photo we took as husband & wife 🤍

what the ceremony room looked like^ definitely not glamorous or aesthetic by any means hahah but it was perfect for us + our immediate family 🥹

the sweetest moment of the day! lino’s nonna is 94 years old and the only grandparent living between both of us. she flew down to florida just to see her first grandchild get married. we will always cherish her being there for us in this moment🥺

our matching rings that we love so much 💍✨

went to a celebratory dinner where lino and i had our second date ever and they printed our names on the menu 🥰 hehe

and they gave us a private room in their brewery!!

lino trying halo halo, a staple filipino dessert for the first time. (peep the wedding band)

met with our incredible wedding planner @paradisoeventsco literally our life saver, making sure this weekend AND our big italian celebration in october is perfect for us 😭

the day after we went to the courthouse was actually my 31st birthday!! 🥳 got some s’mores to celebrate at disney springs and walked around with our families!

then went to lino’s childhood home and i went snooping through their baby photos and found this. my cute groom 👶🏽

lino’s mom made an italian dinner for my family and now we’re all one big family!!!

the next day we went to epic universe with my brother and rode every single ride multiple times lol

and of course we had to watch the world cup finals while we were there haha

grateful to have spent these special moments with our families. truly a weekend we will never forget 🤍

All jokes aside, it’s been a goal of mine to host a cookbook/themed cooking club with friends we know who cook a lot (and might I say good at it) for a while now and finally organized it. The theme was ‘Spring Soirée’ so everything was bright, light, fresh, and full of herbs and produce that were in season. Everyone nailed it - no notes as everything was 👌🏽.

Can’t wait to keep cooking and eating with this crew! Next one is a cookbook dinner!

Aside from being injured, April was still a really nice way to welcome spring and summer 🫶🏽

Highlights:
🎉 @samwhereeverywhere celebrated 4 years in Vancouver (and he planned most of it this time hehe)
🚲 Biked throughout Vancouver
🛶 Kayaked in East Van (highly rec)
🍖 @guu_izakaya became our top fav restaurant during our visit
🦪 Favorite home cooked meal were these lemongrass butter clams with @tandcmarkets fresh manilas on sale!
🍽️ Hosted our first cooking club with a theme of spring - everything green, light, and fresh
⛰️ Spring hike and pizza after
🍄 Catching up with @askmewheretoeat for @seattlerestaurantweek at @chanseattle
🌮 Trip to Austin for @rufusdusol and all the yummy food!

V late to the my EOY ‘24 post, but choosing just 20 memories from 2024 proved to be more difficult than trying to beat @dumpling_bby at DDR in both the US and Japan 🕺🇯🇵 (both were unsuccessful btw)

Went outside this weekend to touch grass and hike a mountain trail.

Also got to spin poi on a mountain cliff so that was cool.

Very fun time at Mt.Rainier with my fellow former Floridians.
