Today, August 3rd, is the last day of early in-person voting at the Riley County Courthouse. Tomorrow, August 4th, is primary election day.
4 years ago, Kansans overwhelmingly voted NO to protect reproductive freedom.
Tomorrow, we need to do it again.
If you believe in the right of every person to have a fair judicial system, VOTE NO.
If you believe in the right of every Kansas kid to attend fully funded public schools, VOTE NO.
If you believe in reproductive freedom, VOTE NO.
If you believe that judges should be independent and neutral, insulated from the divisiveness of party politics and the corrupting influence of campaign money, VOTE NO.
If you believe in only one of those things, some of those things, or all of those things...VOTE NO!
Polls are open on August 4th from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Find your polling location by visiting ksvotes.org and make a plan to vote.

Kansas Supreme Court Justices are supposed to uphold the law, the Kansas Constitution, and the US Constitution. If SCR 1611 passes, justices will become partisan politicians-- loyal to an agenda and campaign promises instead of the rule of law.

Thank you, @kstatedems, for breaking down why it's important to have fair, impartial justices. Vote No on the constitutional amendment in the August 4th primary election.

Kansas needs a Supreme Court that represents all of Kansas—not just the biggest cities.

Our current system gives small towns and rural communities a voice in selecting justices. Today, our Kansas Supreme Court includes justices from cities big and small: Goodland, Scott City, El Dorado, Lawrence, Leawood, and Topeka.

That's because our merit-based selection system gives every corner of Kansas a voice.

SCR 1611 would replace that with costly statewide elections that favor population centers.

Vote to protect the geographic balance of the Kansas Supreme Court.

🗳️ Vote NO on SCR 1611 on August 4th

Thank you for another great video, K-State Young Democrats!

Remember when nearly 60% of Kansans voted NO in August 2022 to protect reproductive rights? Well, we have to do it again. If our judges become politicians, extremist donors and special interest groups will use their influence over the court to overturn Kansans' rights.

Share this video with friends and family, and urge everyone to vote NO again in the 2026 primary election.

Public schools are the backbone of strong communities.

I’ll fight to fully fund our schools, support our teachers, and keep politics out of the classroom so every Kansas student has the chance to succeed.

I was proud to attend the Kansas Federation of Democratic Women event in Topeka on Saturday and hear from leaders across the Democratic community who are helping amplify women’s voices in Kansas and across the country.

From Jeanna Repass and Governor Kelly to Alicia Andrews and Rep. Adelita Grijalva, it was a powerful reminder that our politics are stronger when women are leading.

And I can’t talk about women leading without talking about my daughter Maeve. She has a degree in physics engineering, she’s earning her master’s in physics at WSU, and she is an absolute powerhouse. I know I’m her dad, but I believe she is a future leader...and honestly, I can see her working on the space program someday, if not becoming an astronaut herself.

That is what this work is about for me: building a future where Maeve, and every woman, has the freedom, opportunity, and support to go as far as her talent and determination can take her.

My campaign is committed to championing women’s rights, including reproductive freedom, affordable child care, voting rights, and full participation in our democracy.

Last week, I was out listening and learning.

From Myer’s Mushrooms to a teen mental health forum in Sedgwick County, I heard directly from Kansans about what matters most, jobs, community, and supporting our young people.

That’s how I lead. I listen first.

“If the American people aren’t getting the full information on the consequences of this war, then we can’t make informed decisions.”

I was honored to join The Daily Beans Podcast @dailybeanspod ,a daily national news podcast hosted by Webby Award-winning journalist Allison Gill @theallisongill , to talk about my experience in the Middle East and what’s at stake right now.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent our community and share a perspective shaped by more than 31 years of service.

Watch the episode in my Linktree in bio.

Trans Kansans urgently need your support. Due to a veto override by the Republican-controlled Kansas legislature, over 1,000 transgender Kansans had their driver's licenses invalidated as of February 26, 2026.

We firmly oppose this legislative action and will ALWAYS stand with the LGBTQI+ community.

We must help those affected avoid the legal consequences of driving without a valid ID. Donate to @lgbtqks – which provides direct assistance to LGBTQI+ Kansans.

IF YOU ARE DIRECTLY AFFECTED BY THIS, please email the Foundation at Igbtqkansas@gmail.com. Help is available.
