The 1995 NBA Draft will always be remembered for one thing above all else: Kevin Garnett 💎 Coming straight out of high school, KG changed the league’s perception of prep-to-pro prospects and went on to become one of the greatest power forwards ever. His 26,071 career points sit nearly 9,000 ahead of everyone else from his class, showing just how dominant and consistent he was over two decades in the NBA.

But this draft had plenty of quality beyond its biggest star. Michael Finley quietly carved out an incredibly productive career, Jerry Stackhouse became one of the league’s premier scorers during his prime, and Rasheed Wallace built a résumé filled with elite defense, versatility and, of course, one unforgettable championship in Detroit. Even players like Antonio McDyess, Damon Stoudamire, Joe Smith and Brent Barry put together careers that any franchise would gladly take from a draft class.

It might not have the superstar depth of some legendary drafts, but 1995 produced a Hall of Famer, multiple All-Stars, long-time starters and several players who lasted well over a decade in the league. Looking back more than 30 years later, it’s a class that delivered plenty of value, even if one name towers above the rest. Who do you think was the second-best player from the 1995 draft? 🤔⬇️
