I’m six months into a new role.
Three months into a new city.
First day as local!

This week, the city held a picnic at the Chicago Botanic Garden to welcome me! (Okay, so maybe it was our summer event - but it felt like a welcome party.)
Oh, and I finally got the rhythm of riding the train and commuting to work. I’m doing just fine in Chicago!

Race day isn’t just about the miles.

It’s about the hugs, the high-fives, the cheers, the signs, the encouragement, the finish-line celebrations, and the community that showed up every step of the way.

From the course to the cheer zone, OT9 brought the energy to the west side for the Chicago 13.1 @chidistanceseries. And on a hot race day, those cold sponges came in clutch to help runners cool down and keep pushing toward the finish line.

Thank you to everyone who ran, volunteered, cheered, and celebrated with us. Race day wouldn’t be the same without you. That’s how you show up for community, cheers! 🎉🏅

Saturday Recap

Back at @_carver47 this weekend and joined by familiar faces from the community. The long run crew took care of business despite the rain, and the sun came out just in time for us to finish strong with the community run.

Grateful for everyone who showed up and shared miles with us. See you next week! ✨

630AM, City still sleeping, OT9 already in motion.
7-mile long run crew carved the route, 3-mile community crew brought the wave.
Circles got bigger. New faces, familiar souls. Strides synced.

Today is my one year with Onthe9.
Still moving. Still building. Still showing up. 🟢🏃🏾‍♂️
