This season, Dance Loft + Moveius Ballet is on the move. We open our 11th Season with Prelude: A Season of Migration, pairing Diana Movius's Seasons of Resilience and Apocrita with two works by the legendary Roudolf Kharatian. From there, the season celebrates the communities that make our organization vibrant— a South Asian Dance Festival, A Nutcracker Dream, Amor a la Inmigración, a two-month Dance Loft Presents! Festival, an Earth Day program at Glen Echo Park, and ending the season with Encore: Director's Cut, a June finale built entirely around Moveius Ballet's own choreographic voices.

Wherever you find us this year, we hope you'll MOVE WITH US.

UPDATE: Moveius Ballet’s first performance Prelude: A Season of Migration will now be held at Dance Loft Theater

The Ripple Effect Movement Lab 2026 was one for the books! Here, the sweat was immediate and our legs are still questioning our life choices 😂

To our wonderful Ripple Effect teaching artists: thank you for pushing us (and for the conditioning we’re still feeling).

And to all the dancers who came to take classes, you brought the absolute best energy... thank you for matching the good vibes and turning Dance Place into your 2nd home! 🔥
