One week in and I still can’t believe it🤦🏾‍♂️🥼

I don’t even do paragraphs, but if u would’ve told me three years ago that I would’ve been in medical school, I wouldn’t have believed you. I made all the wrong decisions, doubted myself repeatedly, and lost all hope that I could one day be here. My family believed in me, my friends believed in me, but I didn’t. All I had was imposter syndrome because I kept comparing myself to everyone around me and fell into a mental spiral. However, when you’re at rock bottom and all you’re left with is you and your thoughts, you start hearing a voice in the back of your head; I call that hope. For anyone else who has felt like this, understand that if you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will. You will have good days, you will have bad days. However, every day is a new opportunity to be great regardless of failure. Fear is normal, but it’s how you push through that fear that leads to success. Everyone has their own path and things will happen on God’s timing. Keep fighting on and chasing your dreams, and if no one else believes in you, I do🤞🏾

Hey guys, yesterday was my Graphic Design Senior Thesis show, where me as well as my classmates got to showcase our final projects. The work I showcased was called “Take Care of Yourself” which is a really symbolic piece that talks on my mental health throughout my whole college career and how that affected me , and while my mental health was not the best in the slightest in college, there was still so much good stuff that helped me with it as well so I wanted to showcase the good as well, I wanted to create something that really is about me but also wanted for people to relate to it as well and make their own interpretations of it.

I really appreciate everyone who came out to support for my show I truly do appreciate it , and I’m glad at how it turned out

And with that I’ll say thank you Ohio University, it has been real ❤️
