• KTPM started out as an expression of musical art. The brand was minimal, and it followed the whole "less-is-more" approach. It was about admiring the underground NY culture, the sinfulness, rawness, and spontaneity through sound, light, and art. Or, at least, how we saw it as young 20-somethings. As KTPM has grown, we've wanted to push it to be more than just another "underground new york event" - to be a moment that stands out from the blur of nightlife. A moment that reminds us of the dopamine rush we got as we heard the baseline of our favorite record while standing outside of the venues we love. We put our all into creating something different. Over time we found the edge between a cultural event and an adventure into an electronic music world on the fringe of urban desolation. We haven't figured out a word to define it yet, but we very much look forward to continuing the search for it and creating memories with you. To all our guests, this July 9th we invite you to something special. New York City, meet Detroit Techno. Together, we keep the party moving.
