HAPPY BATMAN DAY!!!

As long as I can remember I’ve wanted to be Batman. And when I became an actor my singular drive was to play him one day.

So for my thesis at LAMDA I took it upon myself to make that dream come true. I wrote, directed, produced, and starred in 20 minutes of William Shakespeare’s Batman. Drawing from my favorite bits of Batman’s mythology and filtered through the style of Shakespeare, written in iambic pentameter.

And yes, I did write an almost 3 minute soliloquy so that I could homage the opening voiceover of Batman V Superman.

It really was a dream come true. And I got to include these unbelievable artists I’ve grown to love, that have had my back through this crazy year be a part of it. Huge love and gratitude to my friends, this community, and all the wonderful people who have supported me in getting here despite my natural Batman-like inclination do disappear into a cave somewhere. I’m better with you guys.

"Look like th' innocent flower, but be the serpent under't." - Lady M

Truly a full circle moment. I auditioned for LAMDA with a monologue from Macbeth and then got to help bring this show to life alongside an incredibly talented cast and crew for our Shakespeare Rep to close out the year. What a gift it has all been.

What a privilege to be part of this production. Lady Macbeth, Third Witch, and Fleance, (absolute whammy of a track) I am yours forever. Immense thanks to @lamdadrama as well as the entire cast and crew for making this insane show possible.
