One of the best things about skating? The instant community and family you gain just by sharing the same passion. 💛

While in Miami, I randomly ran into hundreds of skaters during the iconic Roller Viking Wednesday Night Skate — everyone rocking orange beanies and radiating good vibes. 🔥 They welcomed me in and invited me to roll with them again for Friday night’s social skate, and wow… it did not disappoint.

🛼💨 If you love community, rhythm, and skating under the stars, don’t miss the DC Skate Weekend → September 2–7! We’ll kick things off with a special @weareskatedc Tuesday night skate and pizza party followed by THE Wednesday Night Skate on the Baltimore waterfront. 🌊✨

Huge thanks to the Roller Viking fam for the warm welcome — can’t wait to roll again soon! 💥🧡

Touched down in Miami and didn’t waste a second—next thing I know, I’m cruising the streets and hear that magical word: “Skater!” 🤩 Met up with the amazing Roller Vikings crew and we went FULL send on the ultimate city skate adventure.

We kicked things off at Lot 11, weaved through skyscrapers, skated a packed outdoor mall (sorry, not sorry to the shoppers 👀), bombed the coolest parking garage, and rolled all the way to South Beach. 🌴☀️

Epic vibes, endless laughs, and the warmest welcome from my @rollervikings_family @rollerviqueens fam. Thanks for a great lead @exploring_soflo and welcoming me to the Friday night social skate!!!

Scrimmage Saturday!!! We here at @goldcoastderbygrrls couldn’t be happier! Feeling super lucky 🍀 and grateful to have you all with us today and be able to offer a place for our skaters in the tri-county area to get their derby on ❤️ Roller Derby is slowly but surely evolving post-COVID and we rely heavily on the support of our communities, skaters, and volunteers so THANK YOU to everyone who came out today to scrimmage from all over!! Our local leagues @miamirollerderby and @dubcityderby We hope to be able to keep these going! This was SO FUN! #YayRealDerby #derbyisalive #Rollerderby
