I’ve been enjoying a bit of a social media break the past few months. Of course I still consume, as my phone has conditioned me to stare at it as often as I can. And i’ve posted a few stories here and there, but the effort to make a post or a reel has escaped me. Maybe because social media is sometimes work, it feels less fun than when it was all social. Maybe I’m getting older and have less of a need to share as much of my life on public internett billboard. Maybe I’m still experiencing some fatigue, whether its still from the cancer treatment, or from grinding out starting a business while trying to get back in to pre cancer shape and finish a mountainside certification and trying to have a social life.

For some reason though, I’ve had a nagging feeling that I need to keep my insta feed somewhat current, so here is a selections of photographs and moments from the past few months. August - was again dominated by work - but was super grateful to experience that I am starting to get more summer guiding work via @hallolyngen , not just the ski season in lyngen. Also had a great time working in Jotunheimen with other guides.

In September, I did as little as possible and spent a lot of time at home. My body rode the momentum of stress for 9 months straight which finally gave out. In some moments it can feel frustrating being exhausted, but in other moments I zoom out, realize that I had planned on being exhausted in September, and cleared my schedule so I would have time to rest and gear up for the next winter season and that pretty much the year to date has gone as planned. Really grateful for the harmony and joy @danakate12 brings to my life and that we could spend some well earned time together. And some how I also managed to send a project in Ersfjorden. Apparently the trick to climbing 8-(7b) is resting one week between each session. I guess I ended up doing quite a bit in September after all.

Alright - now the feed is almost current - take care of your selves 😘🤘

As winter approaches, it seems we never got around wrapping up the rest of our summer adventures here on instagram. This august we had the pleasure to share summits on some of Norways most iconic mountains: Stetind, Store Austanbottstind, and Store Skagastølstind. Long days, but a pleasure to help guests fulfill life long dreams and experience these wild places.

More updates on the winter season soon, but for now we’ve been relaxing after long year in the mountains and getting ready for a new season of adventures 🤘
