Living in the city of Lund means you will see a lot of historical monuments around the city: like Viking runestones! This one, called Skårby 1, is in front of the open-air museum Kulturen and it's about a thousand years old. It originally stood in Ystad, which we visited a couple of times this summer. As a person, who has from childhood been interested in Viking times and archeology, this Skåne area of Sweden has been a real treat!

I like to wear jewellery based on archeological findings or at least inspired by history, for example the red carnelian pendant by @odinsklinge I am wearing is based on finding from Ribe, Denmark from Viking age, also the brooch is decipting mythological ravens from the Viking sagas.

Long overdue photo dump of our trip to sweden (and everything that happend since the past weeks!) Here’s some impressions from the Skissernas Museum in Lund, the Techkningsmuseet in Laholm, Ribersborgs Kallbadhus in Malmö, Kajaking at our B&B in Falkenberg, walking the streets of Lund, the beautiful installation at Oskarströmmagasinen by Pat Perry, the detailed exhibition at the open air museum Kulturen i Lund, and me wiriting my thesis on Kometjakten - Comet in Moominvalley! (As a bonus you can also take a look at my growing butterfly/insect collection and my song recommendations to my mexican penpal ximena 🐜🪲🦋🎶)

Psssssst, will share more of our trip and our time in Falkenberg in the coming weeks, working on some drawings right now so you get the full experience 💕🫧🪰🫖 grateful for this special trip together with my oldest childhood friend @lara_marie99 <3 and as always, thank you @visitsweden @visithalland @fbg_falkenberg 🧡🫧🐚

September has seven made-up holidays. Turns out that’s barely scratching the surface — there’s a ”day” for almost everything if you look hard enough.

But they’re a opportunity to celebrate the small things in everyday life! Mushroom Day, Hiking Day, Heritage Day, Brunch Day, the Autumn Equinox, Apple Day, and Coffee Day — swipe through for where to actually mark each one.

Which one are you celebrating? 👇
