What if your chapter had its own Dental Service Learning Trip? 🦷

That's exactly what Gaby, junior at the University of Kansas and president of @kumedlife, is building.

✔️ 3 new Smiles roles on her exec board
✔️ A traditional SLT and a Dental SLT, at the same time, this January

Why Smiles? Because oral health is connected to overall health, and because care doesn't end when the clinic does. 💙

The year has only just started, but I am already feeling so proud of my chapters and everything they’ve been smashing so far! Seeing everyone get stuck in, grow their communities and bring MEDLIFE to life on their campuses has been amazing 🫶

Everyone has been doing so well, but here are some chapters who have really gone above and beyond this past month 🌍

And now that classes are starting for my California and UK chapters, let’s see who can grow the most during September….!

I was 16 when I went on my first experience abroad, similar to a service-learning trip. I remember it was one of those moments that quietly shifts how you see the world and your place in it. That experience sparked my path into impact and nonprofit work.

So being in San José this week, alongside our MEDLIFE SLT students, brought that full circle. Seeing those early moments of reflection, growth, and purpose unfold for students reminded me 🌟why this work matters🌟

Special recognition to the University of Kansas MEDLIFE executive board for their leadership and commitment - this experience has been a true highlight of my MEDLIFE journey so far 🤍🌍💛

Thank you @lifeatmedlife and @alejandrobeou.medlife for the opportunity of a lifetime!

🏔️🌱 IT’S NOVEMBER WHICH MEANS ITS OFFICIALLY MOVING MOUNTAINS MONTH! The Power to Grow 2025 🌱🏔️

As a MEDLIFE Chapter Coach, I’m so excited to see how all my chapters come together for this year’s Moving Mountains Campaign!

Every fundraiser, every conversation, and every donation helps communities grow stronger through access to healthcare, education, and safe housing. 💚

When we give, we help others find their power to grow, and that’s how we move mountains, together 🌍✨

To my chapters, comment your fundraising goal below 👇
