A New Chapter for Social Entrepreneurship in Indonesia! 🇮🇩✨ On 20 October 2026, we officially launched Jaringan Wirausaha Sosial Indonesia (JWSI) — the Indonesian Social Entrepreneurship Network at the KUMPUL Connect for Change Summit 2026 in Jakarta. But this was never simply about launching another organisation. Across Indonesia, social entrepreneurs are creating innovative solutions, while social investors, philanthropists, corporations, and government institutions are seeking meaningful opportunities to create impact. Yet too often, they remain disconnected. That’s why JWSI was established. 💙 Through the JWSI Network, we connect and empower social enterprises. Through JWSI Partners, we bring together resource providers and stakeholders to unlock opportunities, mobilise support, and strengthen collaboration. Our vision is an ecosystem where social enterprises are recognised, supported, financed, and empowered to scale. Grateful for the inspiring keynote from Sandiaga S. Uno and the presence of Svida Alisjahbana, both members of JWSI’s Board of Patrons Deeply honoured by the endorsement and participation of Bapak Dr. Widodo (Dirjen AHU, Ministry of Law) and Ibu Rizki Handayani, Deputy for Industry and Investment, Ministry of Tourism, alongside our partners in the Joint Commitment Signing. A heartfelt thank you to all our founding partners, collaborators, and everyone who believed in this shared vision. ❤️ @avpn_asia @kumpul_id @instellarimpact @harapura @okoce.indonesia @merkle and global entrepeneur network @genindonesia_id @aludi.id and many more. And this is only the beginning! Our doors remain open to more social enterprises and partners who want to be part of this journey. The commitment has been made. Now let’s turn it into meaningful impact, together! 🚀 🌐 www.jwsi.org #JWSI #SocialEntrepreneurship #SocialImpact #ImpactInvesting #Indonesia #togetherforimpact

India and Indonesia look similar on paper. So why doesn’t the same business model work in both markets? In a session of KUMPUL C4C Summit 2026 "Asia’s New Bridges: Connecting ASEAN and India", Bipin Mishra, CEO of PT Leap Digital Indonesia and Joint Secretary at the India Indonesia Chamber of Commerce, explored the opportunities and challenges of cross-border business expansion. The discussion highlighted what it takes to turn shared economic potential into real business opportunities. Key takeaways from the session: Market entry requires more than strong numbers. Companies need cultural sensitivity, local customer insights, and tailored strategies to navigate different regulatory frameworks, particularly in sectors such as pharmaceuticals and food. Ecosystem builders, accelerators, and incubators can help companies establish soft-landing pathways. Local partnerships, customer support, and trust are essential for long-term success. India and Indonesia also have significant opportunities to deepen collaboration in technology and innovation. But building a stronger innovation corridor requires companies to prioritize value creation, rather than simply extracting value from a new market. The biggest lesson? A successful business model in India cannot simply be copied and pasted into Indonesia. Despite similarities in internet penetration, middle-class demographics, and financial inclusion, local customer behavior tells a different story. Indonesian merchants, for example, may still rely on online lending or cash loans to finance daily inventory needs. Cross-border growth starts with understanding the market, not assuming it will behave the same way. Understanding the problem is half the solution, connecting the dots for a better future. Masterclass @climatefresk_indonesia di C4C Summit 2026 by @kumpul_id . Selama 2.5 jam, kami bedah sebab-akibat perubahan iklim pakai 42 kartu berbasis laporan IPCC. Belajar climate science ternyata bisa se-engaging ini. It was intense, collaborative, and a mind-shifting experience. Mapping out the cause-and-effect in small groups made me realize how interconnected everything is, from policy, business ecosystem, to our daily choices. Driving real impact isn’t just about big talks, tapi gimana kita betul-betul paham the core science and turn insights into actionable strategies. Super grateful for the energy in the room. Excited to bring these learnings into my next journey. #ClimateChange #ClimateAction #C4CSummit2026 #ConnectforChange

From our Vancouver days as Yaletown / Downtown girls, to reconnecting years later in Indonesia at a business summit. Who would have thought that two girls who once shared a love for fashion and the downtown lifestyle would find themselves sitting together, talking about business, ideas, and what we want to build over the next five years & the future. Funny how life evolves ❤️
