Second last Friday at the 9–5…

Sitting here watching my kids play, and honestly… it hit me.

In one more week, this whole chapter of my life changes.

I’ve spent years working, sacrificing, missing things, coming home tired… all while trying to build something with the team on the side.

And now I’m actually about to walk away from the 9–5.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous.

Because I don’t know exactly what life looks like after this.

But I know what I’m doing it for.

These kids. My family. Our future.

Every late night.
Every sacrifice.
Every time we chose to keep going when it would’ve been easier to quit.

It all comes down to this.

One more week.

Then we find out what happens next.

A day in the life of building something bigger 🚀

Today was one of those days that reminds me why we started.

Road trips. City walks. Laptop sessions. Big conversations. Learning from other entrepreneurs. Building with the Rise team. And a quick reminder of the people who make it all worth it — my kids ❤️

Finished the day exactly how we started it… together, recording a podcast and talking about what’s next.

Still early. Still building. Still figuring it out.

But we’re moving. 🔥

Second-to-last Saturday at this job.

That sounds crazy even saying it.

For years, Saturdays were just part of the routine.
Wake up. Go to work. Get it done.

But today feels different.

Because after this…

I’ve only got one more Saturday shift left.

One more.

Then this chapter of my life is done.

Built while tired. 🫡

15 shifts left.

It’s weird saying that out loud.

For years, this was just normal life — wake up early, go to work, do the shift, come home tired, repeat.

Now every shift I finish is one closer to the end of this chapter.

I don’t have everything figured out.

I just know I finally backed myself.
