20 years of blind trust. 🎷

In 2026, the Silke Eberhard Trio celebrates its 20th anniversary! Two decades of @silkeeberhard (alto saxophone), Jan Roder (double bass) and @kayluebke (drums) playing as one.

So how do you keep surprising each other after so many years?

🌟 HELL – er – LEUCHTET 🌟
05.12.26 - @kunstfabrikschlot

„Dance and music share a deep friendship.“

In this interview, recipient of the German Jazz Price 2026 @akitakase2023 talks about what happens when her piano meets the urban energy of turntables and dance.

With exceptional turntablist @vincentvonschlippenbach and dancer @kofiedavibe_stretch , nothing is fixed in advance. Every note and every move answers the one before.

For the grand #finale of rejazz-festival 2026, get ready for a magical evening spanning intimate, deeply moving sounds and a pulsating encounter of jazz avant-garde, turntablism and dance.

🎵 JULIE CAMPICHE – SOLO
Swiss harpist and composer @juliecampiche has developed a deeply personal and unmistakable sonic language. Expanding the harp with subtle electronic effects, she opens up a profoundly moving world of raw emotion. Inspired by Virginia Woolf’s famous words “For most of history, Anonymous was a woman,” she dedicates this powerful solo program to women and feminine strength.

• Julie Campiche – harp, fx, voice

🎹 AKI TAKASE feat. DJ ILLVIBE & KOFIE DA VIBE
A true legend of international jazz and recipient of the German Jazz Prize 2026 for Lifetime Achievement, @akitakase2023 is a force of nature at the piano: virtuosic, humorous and delightfully unpredictable.

In this crossover project, jazz avant-garde meets urban club culture. Together with turntablist @vincentvonschlippenbach and dancer @kofiedavibe_stretch , she merges sound, movement and abstract storytelling into a pulsating, multidimensional universe.

• Aki Takase – piano
• DJ Illvibe – turntables, fx
• Kofie da Vibe – dance

”Man or woman, it doesn’t matter. It all comes down to identity.“

For @akitakase2023 , what counts is the music. And today, more women than ever are shaping it as players, composers and bandleaders.

That’s what rejazz-festival is about: three nights, six acts, all led or co-led by women who are redefining jazz with their own sound.

Aki Takase, recipient of the German Jazz Prize 2026 for Lifetime Achievement, closes the festival with her crossover project feat. @vincentvonschlippenbach & @kofiedavibe_stretch .
