Cross is officially back and it’s back with a bang! 💥 It was a warm welcome back to the West Midlands league for our riders in 25 degrees but it did not disappoint and they did a fantastic job!

We had 4 riders in the overall top 10 in the women’s race with with a clean sweep on the senior podium and just about missing out on a podium place from Ingrid in the Junior women.

🏆 DOUBLE TROUBLE 🏆

The last week has been amazing for the Baker duo (no they’re not sisters but maybe they were meant to be 🤔) Last Sunday saw them take a 1-2 at the 3rd round of the National Mountain bike series at Matterly Basin on a super hilly and slippy course 🥇🥈

On Thursday they backed up the first weekends results with podiums at their local circuit races 🥈🥉

This Sunday they were back together to take on the Warwick Town Centre Criterium @warwick_lanterne_rouge_cc where they showed off some class teamwork, getting @alderney_01 in a 2 rider break with @melisssa_jade controlling the racing behind. Crossing the line in 1st and 4th the girls just narrowly missing out on another double podium! 🏆

🇬🇧 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 🇬🇧

A lot of muddy kit later and this weekend has given us so much to look forward to for next season already!

After Kate’s stella 🥈 in the Masters race on Saturday she backed it up with an amazing ride on Sunday with 7th in the Elite/U23 women’s race which was won by no other than Zoe Backsteadt!

@reddytasha had an incredible start which saw her 5th into view over the top of the first hill! A Christmas of being ill took it’s toll but she came home with a great 22nd place, and fuelled the fire for next season🔥 there are big things to come for this one! 💪

Thank you to everyone for their support this season - we could not do this without you!

Day 1 at #cxnats saw @k_eedy back on the national scene after a tumble on the ice at Rnd 5 of the trophy series took her off the bike for a bit. Today she came back with a bang and took 🥈 in the V40+ women’s field and 🥇 V45!

Tomorrow we have both Kate & @reddytasha on the start list in the Elite & U23 women’s race.

We wish them the best of luck on what is looking like a really tough course for this years National Championships! 🏃‍♀️🚵‍♀️

Unfortunately @alderney_01 won’t be starting.

We have finally gotten our breath back after an amazing weekend of racing!

We could not be more proud of our team. Topping of a great couple of days with UCI racing, we had @alderney_01 taking 2nd U23 and 5th Elite and @k_eedy proving her strength with 7th Elite on her second day of racing! 👏 The rest of our team put in solid rides gaining both experience and confidence to start the season with 👊

Thank you so much to everyone who volunteered across the weekend, we could not have done this without you!

It’s September… and you know what that means!

Yep, you guessed it! #CROSSISHERE and we could not be more excited to send it into this season 🔥

With some great races on the MTB scene and on the road this year (see Melissa shredding her way through the XC National Series and Laura challenging herself up Mount Ventoux) we cannot wait to get back on our favourite bikes 😍

We also have some very exciting announcements & updates that we cannot wait to share either so… watch this space 👀
