🛼🔥 THE 5th ANNIVERSARY of @skaterockcity 🔥🛼

@koolnews was on the floor for one of the biggest moments in modern roller-skating culture — THE 5th ANNIVERSARY of Skate Rock City. A legendary rink, revived and reenergized, celebrating five years strong with a national skate party that brought the culture together under one roof.

@koolnews interviewed Whitney Banks, the manager who helped steer this comeback, breaking down what it really took to rebuild a historic rink, reconnect it to the culture, and turn it into a destination skaters now travel for.

5 Years ago when Floyd Mayweather stepped in, the rink didn’t just reopen — it transformed. What followed was a full revival of a Vegas skating landmark, pulling in skaters from around the country, uniting styles, generations, and communities on the same legendary floor.

Pro skaters showed up to exchange ideas, sharpen skills, and learn new moves. Local legends rolled alongside visiting crews. This wasn’t just a celebration — it was proof that rink culture is alive, evolving, and louder than ever in Las Vegas.

This report captures the energy, the history, and the movement behind a rink where legacy still rolls.
