We carry the weight of the world in our pockets.

Work follows us onto the trail, into the woods, right into our sleeping bags.

Every empty second echoes with the thoughts of other people. And now, the thoughts of machines.

But the fire has a strange gravity.

Around it, phones disappear.

Attention returns.

This is your reminder. Keep carrying the fire.

This past weekend I checked out @kurt_okelly ‘s 1992 Toyota pickup @coloyota_expo
He’s the original owner and has been modifying the truck since he was 16.

Here’s the run down:
3.4 swap with supercharger
@totalchaosfabrication long travel with @kingshocks
Chevy 63 spring swap
3rd gen 4Runner front clip
@mcneilracinginc fiberglass fenders
Built mostly by @rsgoffroad

This thing was a treat, and it looks wayyy different than my 1992 Pickup!

When I first came to Belmont, I absolutely hated it if I’m honest. Being away from my family, friends, and poochies, I felt alone. 3 people who I was closest with transferred my freshman and sophomore year, and I felt like I was next; But if there was one thing I would say to freshman me, I would say it gets better. You’re gonna meet people who support you through and through, and enjoy life to the fullest. It was hell of a journey, but a journey I wouldn’t change for anything. Bruins 4Lyfe 🙈🐻‍❄️

Also shoutout to @abigail.klotz @abigailklotzphoto for taking these baller photos 📸
