Kurt and I purchased this amazing oil painting by @suzanne_robbert from the Pee Wee Herman themed exhibition I was also a part of in Ventura, CA. We are huge fans of the original Pee Herman Show that was on HBO in the early 80s. We even got to see it on Broadway about 15 years ago. We both said YOLO, let's get it. It goes just perfect next our @stankoart fish and this @old97s poster that Kurt ripped off of the wall of Irving plaza in the 90s. @rhettmiller signed it for us at a backyard concert almost 10 years ago, "To Kurt and Theresa, Y'all rock!"

So glad that we made it up to the Hudson Valley this summer. I got a last minute deal on a house that happens to be used for yoga retreats. It was perfect for sone peaceful relaxation for a few days. We saw Spiderman Brand New Day at the classic Overlook drive-in in Poughkeepsie, an unforgettable memory for the kids and something that I always loved but never thought I would be able to share with them. On day 2, we got to see our good friends Jim and Megan for lunch in Ellenville, and then we did the Rail Explorers pedal cars in Phoenicia, followed by a great dinner at Alba's in Woodstock. Day 3 we headed to my old stomping grounds in New Paltz for a little shopping and lunch at Main Course. It's amazing how many businesses have stayed over the last 30+ years. I'm always a little sad to leave. Already looking at houses for next year!

Happy birthday to my husband, Kurt...a great Dad and the best person to go through this life with. 48 was a hard year, so here's to only better things to come as you round out another decade. Love you ♥️ 🎉

Back at @rootandbranchbrewing , catching up with old phriends over some of the best pours around, amazing on-site pizzas by @nicoscharredpies (yes… even the elusive square pies 👀), and fresh-out-the-oven chocolate chip cookies that didn’t stand a chance against @kriegmeanswar 's choppers. #CraftBeerLife #PizzaAndBeer #brewery #ipa #pizzagram

Almost finished giving our old Santa statue a makeover. Kurt and I have been working on him for weeks. Will share the "before" and "after" once he's completed! 🎄 🎅

Another of the many "lasts" we will experience this year as Van graduates elementary school...the last Trunk or Treat. I always let the kids pick, and they always pick something totally random that you can't buy, lol. This year it was Invader Zim, with a Frankenstein Zim electrocuting Gir. Our first was Coco in 2019, the Haunted Mansion in 2021, Simpsons in 2023, and Coraline in 2024. Thanks to our hard working Harvest/trunk or treat committee for putting this event together year after year. Great job all around. Thanks for the memories. 🎃 👻 #trunkortreat #invaderzim #gir #zim #halloween #Coco #Simpsons #hauntedmansion #coraline
