Extremely excited to launch our new country label Supper Time Records. For those who know me understand how passionate I’ve been about country music since I was young kid. I met a lot of amazing people in the scene from growing up in Tamworth and playing in country bands from the age of 13. One of those people was a guy called @jedd_hughes who is one of the most talented guitarists and songwriters who has been a great friend for years. Honoured to have Jedd be the first signing to the label. You’ll be hearing a lot more from him soon. Stoked to also have my Dad @ezzybailey involved on A&R for this label. He has some of the greatest ears and enthusiasm for country music and will be on the look out for new signings. 🤠🤠🤠

On the 10th of May I was diagnosed with systemic scleroderma which is rare auto immune disease which attacks the connective tissue throughout my body.
At the time, like most people getting diagnosed with anything, I crippled up into fear and could do nothing but cry with my wife - we went out for lunch straight after and both of us couldn’t even speak.
Unfortunately there is no cure YET for this chronic disease but like myself and other sufferers of the disease, we’re hopeful for one soon. After doing more research into Scleroderma and talking to some very dear friends of mine about it, I’ve found strength to put this behind me and only look forward to a long and fulfilled life with family and friends.

After being born with a rare skin disease called erpidermolysis bullosa , it gave me passion as a kid to pursue anything I wanted without it holding me back.

Then to be be diagnosed with testicular cancer at 23 was another bump in the road but it gave me courage to follow my passion and start a music company.
Now at 33 with another disease trying to attack my future, I’m excited to keep defying the odds and see what this new bump in the road will drive me to do for the good of other people and my own well being. I’m not exactly sure what that is yet, however, I’m very much looking forward to it.

I was hesitant to even mention this new diagnoses but have realised so many of us have our own stories or have been affected by disease or know people who have been. It’s people’s stories that have inspired me and I hope messages like this encourage people to share their stories and not bottle them up or ever feel like no one understands what they’re going through - it can be frightening being in that position.
Even if this message inspires 1 person, that is all that matters.

Onwards and upwards.
