POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A (very love-filled) whirlwind of five days… we celebrated three years married in Newport, Rhode Island (lots of film to be shared soon) and then hopped over to Montauk, New York where my brother proposed to @emmaamurpphy (🤍) on the beach right before sunset. Sailing, bed and breakfasts, light house visits, tavern dinners, ferry rides, clam chowder, undercover wigs, rose petals, a new sister-to-be, jelly donuts, very special family time, core memories, and lots of happy tears.

yesterday was the very first time I purchased a “happy birthday, to my husband” card and it truly hit me all over again —

while I am so grateful I get to celebrate you on every birthday for the rest of our lives, I am even more grateful that I get to celebrate you every single day in between. I get to celebrate each time we find a new favorite tavern nearby and every project we finish in our cottage. I get to celebrate every day we get to work from home together, every accomplishment you make, and every deal you close that month. I get to celebrate every mile you run, especially when it’s 100 of them. I get to celebrate every morning coffee pot you make and every time we finish another re-watch of the Originals. I get to celebrate every kitchen dance and pizza night. I get to celebrate every adventure we take, whether it’s down south, up north, out west, or abroad. I get to celebrate simply being your wife because it’s the most fun and special thing I’ve ever had the honor of being… so, “happy birthday, to my husband”, forever grateful I have you to celebrate each and every day.

Thirty (belated) years of your heart becoming my favorite thing I’ve ever known. Cheers to you and this being what will forever be one of our most special years.

save our date / art by @byv____

As an artist and designer, our wedding stationery was something that was wildly important to me. I wanted it to feel like a warm welcome into my entire creative vision for our our special day. I also knew it wasn’t something I had any desire to create myself, and instead, wanted to partner with another artist who appreciated the stationery experience as much as I did.

Together, Vanessa and I explored Italian romance mixed with countryside charm and brought my “scribbled love note on a napkin” idea to life — through our venue’s Italian architecture, intimate dinner party sketches, and hand-done “marry me’s”.

In mailboxes now, invitations to follow.
