15.11. | PANKE Culture

aantz [experimental ambient/Berlin/ARG] x UnoX [augemented dub/Berlin] live

A night of subtle textures, shifting physical boundaries, and raw acoustic-electronic fusion.

aantz (Berlin/Argentina) | The project of producer and curator Emme Moises (Atmosphères). Moving fluently between ambient, experimental dub, and hypnotic techno. Evolving rhythms, cinematic atmospheres, and deep listening culture.

UnoX (Berlin) | Perkwuno & XrysafeniaX merge live acoustic drums with triggered electronics. A high-voltage unit bridging pensive rhythm structures, freestyle drum augmentation, and severe dance beats.

23.IX. | Psychrusader [psychedelic sludge/Berlin] x ..O [drone metal/Berlin] live at Neue Zukunft

Next Wednesday, the 23d of September, Neue Zukunft - one stage, two duos, and a total immersion into existential depth and sonic experimentation.

..O | A Berlin-based life-metal duo by way of Bangalore. Built upon a slow-moving, droning anchor tone, they use distortion to paint an emotional landscape that is as haunting as it is hypnotic.
FFO: Earth, Sunn O))), Swans @__thoughtbubble

PSYCHRUSADER | A raw, textured, and transcendental journey driven by pounding drums, droning melodies, and fuzzed-out riffs that confront the darkest corners of the human condition.
FFO: Buzzoven, Sleep, YOB @psychrusader

On May 9th, we shared the stage with @ingnodwetrust to celebrate 20 years of their never-ending mutation.

A brief look back: exactly 10 years ago, zeug (then called halbzeug, with a different line-up) played their first show with GNOD at Urban Spree. A decade of existence sealed in the same room. What were the odds.

Captures by @gaelpettinaroli.

Current state: new LP in progress. All instrumental tracks were tracked down during the last week of May at our studio in @gaswerksiedlung_berlin. Vocals and noise dubs are happening now.

Yours,
zeug

Still vibrating from last night at Kantine am Berghain. Huge thanks to @ingnodwetrust and @zeugband for sharing the stage—it felt like a fever dream in the best way possible.

See you soon.

'Wie verhandelt man den Irrtum jetzt' – only bandcamp release.

A rehearsal to release and, probably, to erase.
Recorded at one of the sessions at Gaswerksiedlung in October 2024

We record our rehearsals pretty often, just to keep track of certain movements and how the pieces develop. This particular one sounded powerful and messy enough to release.

Some of the songs haven’t been released on any albums yet, and a few have changed drastically over time. This recording is pretty close to what you get when you see zeug live.

You can catch us performing this Sunday at Pipeland//Gaswerk this Sunday.

Yours,
zeug

@gaswerksiedlung_berlin has been our home since 2018.

Most of our songs were composed in our 'loud corner' of that thriving artist community, and we couldn't wish for a better haven for zeug. Through all these years, we got incredible support from people around Gaswerk.
It would be an understatement to say that we are happy to be a part of this place - especially, while watching more and more venues and music spots disappearing from the Berlin map (i.e., @loophole_brln being the latest case – go and support them!).

Crazy to see how much Gaswerk grew in the harsh reality of gentrification & money-making.

zeug is really excited and proud to perform this coming Friday, the 12th of July, at @gaswerk.music.days – in collaboration with another Gaswerk resident - @scottmonteith.deadbeat_blkrtz.

Probably no other motto as 'radical live music' would suit us better.
Many, many great musicians aboard.

We hope to see you there!
