The journey to 50km was incredible.

I was in bed when @kutnda called me saying they were already at the run. So, ignoring my initial intention to arrive at 10am, I got up, left at 8 and arrived at 8:30am.

The first 10km were easy.
The second 10km were alright.
The last 30km were some of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

BIG UP to everyone who has completed 100km, and honestly, to anyone who pushed themselves to achieve what they could. 🫡

If you’re still reading, the MAIN reason for this event was the man, the myth, the legend, @rjourney_.

Such a humble leader, energetic encourager, and man of God. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to run. I loved every moment of it.

AND TO ALL THE KIDS WITH CANCER WHO THIS RUN WAS FOR:

WE LOVE YOU. ❤️

We pray that this charity can bring some light, hope and joy into your lives.

There’s one thing I learned.

I wanted to get to 100km.
I didn’t.

At first, I thought I failed.

But after thinking about it, perhaps I didn’t.
I learned, and everyone does.

I learned that 100km is CRAZY hard.

I learned that patience and endurance can take you further than physical fitness alone.

And most importantly, I learned that none of it means much if you don’t have the riches of life around you.

Not money.
Not fame.
Not success.

But family.
Friends.
Supporters.
And the people you love.

50km wasn’t 100km.

But it was 50km more than I had done before.

And for that, I’m grateful.
