I do not usually share my doodle or practices on my anim account (those goes to @sketchy_tinghe ). But yesterday was too much fun so I have to give it a spotlight. 6 of us gathered and had a blast of figure drawing. We grabbed a themed drawing session from @zeet_studio_sketch and drew for 2 hours. Challenging meanwhile so worthy. My fellow friends who drew with me are tagged in images. Let’s continue to make art! #drawing #art #figuredrawing #character #anime #ranma½ #manga #cute #procreate #ipad #doodle

Last year, I had an incredible opportunity to team up with a bunch of insanely talented artists for @buck_design debut video game, @letsrevolution Slide to view some of the sketches and steps involved in creating the game’s title. A special shoutout goes to @emy_su for her outstanding art direction and the rest of the crew at Buck, who poured their magic into this project! Logo animation by the one and only @seanmerk

For the final part of our food series to celebrate AAPI Heritage month, the BUCK APAC ERG looks back at how food knits us together, even now through this artistic endeavor. As we swapped stories and recipes to take each other through our illustrations, we began to learn more about our fellow BUCKers and the cultures we all come from. Together, this became a chance to remember that we are never alone, and that we can always depend on each other to help us get to the next meal. ”At the end of a long day, food is not just a simple source of comfort, but a medium for loved ones to gather and share time with one another. A meal may be temporary, but is permanent proof of our connections to our loved ones.” @kuu.work Artists: @keem.sunghyun @gracehyein.park @melissa__ya @kuu.work @lotatopuree

To celebrate Lunar New Year, our Asian-Pacific Employee Resource Group designed a series of tigers crafted through a collaborative exquisite corpse exercise. Tigers are a symbolic theme across Asia and the 2022 zodiac animal. To highlight this diversity, each panel was created by a different APAC ERG member, infusing their point of view, culture and, traditions into the art to create a mosaic that depicts the richness of our group and shared ancestry. For Haeri Cho (@ladelune), Lunar New Year is a time for “Gathering and sharing best wishes with our loved ones! Also it’s a day for celebrating each unique culture with foods and festivals.” Tiger 01 Artists: @matthewkam, @sejinpark_, @lea__zhang, @emy_su, @heee.1, @viktoriya.work, @ladelune, @kuu.work

It took decades of hard work behind the scenes for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month to become a reality. The month of May was chosen for two reasons. First, to commemorate the arrival of the first known Japanese immigrant on May 7th, 1843. The second, to honor the completion of the transcontinental railroad on May 10th, 1869 which was largely built by Chinese labor. This month, BUCK will be showcasing artwork by some of our amazing AAPI artists as we reflect on history and current events. Artwork by: @kuu.work #aapi #asianamerican #aapiheritagemonth
