SEND to your FAV PERSON who NEEDS to go here with you! ✅ Looking for the best new Japanese restaurant in North Scottsdale? This Scottsdale HOT SPOT just opened and it is already packed. And for good reason.

Fish for the raw bar and sushi is flown in twice a week from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market, with crudos, nigiri and a chef-selected sashimi presentation meant to be the centerpiece of the table. Having traveled to Japan multiple times - their sushi HITS! 🍣

And if you have heard of Japanese wagyu… prepare for a life changing experience. This was one of our FAVS - cooked on the robata!

Robata, short for robatayaki, is a Japanese cooking style where skewered meats, seafood and vegetables are grilled slowly over hot charcoal. They take Japanese Steakhouse to the next level.

The cocktails and mocktails are immaculate both in taste and presentation and the service is TOP notch!

Plus, an incredible DJ who brings the vibes that match the beautiful ambiance. TAG HIM if you know this face!

Perfect date night vibes, girls or guys night out, business meeting or legit, bring the fam cause… sushi kids!

First Bites of Phoenix with @houseofform_ is where design, food, art and community intersect in the most perfect way.

We’re still in awe that this event sold out within hours of launching and love to see what it’s become — a desire to gather, connect, and experience our creative community in a beautiful and meaningful way.

Cheers to all the creatives that have made this experience so special.

There’s something special about experiencing a space alongside the people who designed it. Hearing the story behind Kuza made every material, every curve, and every glow of light feel even more intentional. Thank you House of Form and Desert Design Week for an unforgettable evening.

New spot alert: Kuza @kuzarestaurant just opened in North Scottsdale, from the same group behind Kala and The Americano. We stopped by on opening weekend to check it out.

The menu has a little bit of everything, from a raw bar and robota grill to some really good cocktails.

We tried the Taiwanese fried chicken, tataki, sashimi platter, Kuza roll, and lamb chops. Everything we tried was really good, and the service was excellent.

But the standout for me was the ube chocolate cake. I’ve genuinely never had anything quite like it.

We had a great time and I’m excited to see how Kuza does.

My first @desertdesignweek event hosted by @houseofform_ at @clive_collective ‘s newest Japanese concept, @kuzarestaurant was an absolute blast!

As always, THE @i.am.dala outdid herself with every single detail. 🥢

It was so nice seeing @neleigh1 and meeting some new ladies!

Amazing evening at @desertdesignweek First Bites of Phoenix hosted by @houseofform_ @kuzarestaurant. The food, art, design, and details of the event were all 10/10 🤌🏼 the engraved chopsticks as a take home was my absolute favorite detail !!!

One of Scottsdales new spots Kuza is another great addition to the area. The nigiri tasting was the highlight. The crispy spicy tuna was a standout too. The skewers were tender with smokey finish and the crispy chicken had a blend of unique spices that is unlike any dish I’ve ever had. Our server was friendly and kept things moving without rushing us. We’ll be back. #azfood #scottsdaleaz #asian #cocktails #datenight
