This was the last solo Johnny Boy recorded for me.

Some of the best memories of my life was watching, and listening to my bro shred. He’d do maybe 20 of some of the most insane takes any of us ever heard, and nuke them all until he felt it was right. (Wonder who he got that from 😆).

I never had to produce him, or even tell him what I wanted most of the time, he just knew. He felt it. And I trusted him wholeheartedly, mostly because I was always simply in awe, and truly grateful any time I was fortunate enough to catch him with enough time to bless the jams. This particular song is called, “Hard2Forget”. It was already my favorite song I’ve ever made, but now it takes on a whole new meaning.

Side note: this is actually the first time ever where I handled all the rhythm guitar parts, and had Johnny Boy solo on top, and all around. I’ll never forget how hype he was to hear that it was me playing everything. He’ll always be my biggest inspiration.

It’s one of those nights where I can’t shut off my mind. Thankful for these memories. Missing my bro more than ever.
