Let’s talk about the cover shoot.

Shot on a Minolta 5000 film camera. I hit @porquemet like, “I’m just gonna wing it,” and that’s exactly what we did.

Huge shoutout to Met and @yuhhreneshiaaa for really leading this shoot—I was just capturing what they brought to it. We had a few props, I brought the hat, he threw it on, and made it his own.

We were honestly just bullshitting in the studio, nothing too serious. Then I dropped the film off at @olilousfilmlab got it back a few hours later, saw that shot… and knew it was the cover.

The feeling was there.

Thank you again, Met ❤️

Let me reintroduce myself ✨

Hey! I’m Ranyia, a South Florida photographer specializing in fashion, branding, and capturing your best angles. ⚡️

My love for creation and art began with sketchbooks and paint. I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of people, and over time, that passion shifted from pencils to lenses.

What started as me sneaking my sister’s camera and wandering the neighborhood turned into a full-blown creative journey.

Today, I’m the lead photographer, videographer, social media content creator, and assistant media manager at my church. I also offer restaurant and branding photography, helping individuals and businesses bring their vision to life.

When I’m behind the camera, I love capturing attitude, emotion, and story. Sometimes I see the shot before it even happens. And when I edit, I’m incredibly detail-oriented. A single image might take me one or two hours — especially for fashion or editorial work. That level of care and intention goes into everything I create.

Working with me feels like hanging out with a friend who hypes you up the entire time. I know what it’s like to feel awkward in front of the camera, which is why I go out of my way to help you feel seen, confident, and at ease. Bring your bestie, your playlist, your nervous energy — we’re going to create magic.

Creatively, working at my church has shaped me more than I ever expected. It’s taught me how to move fast in low light, stay present, and be intentional. It made me fall in love with videography and taught me to be ready when the moment happens.

And when I’m not creating, you’ll probably find me outside — running, making pottery, playing volleyball, or spending time with family and friends. Movement and creativity fuel me.

I’m still here — sharpened, inspired, and ready to work with new clients who care just as much about the vision as I do. 🤍

Beauty isn’t just in what we see; it’s in the confidence, kindness, and light that shines from within ✨. True beauty radiates when we embrace who we are, flaws and all. Let’s capture that magic.

Just wrapped up session 2 with AboutFace Films, diving deep into the topic of moral injuries. This discussion was incredibly moving and thought-provoking. Sharing these conversations, drawing from personal experiences and the experiences of others, reminds me of the profound impact moral injuries have on our lives. It's not just about the visible scars but the invisible ones that shape our decisions, our interactions, and our path forward. I'm grateful for the opportunity to shed light on this critical issue and hope our dialogue reaches those who need to hear it most. Thank you, AboutFace Films, for providing a platform to discuss and heal these unseen wounds. #MoralInjuries #HealingJourney #AboutFaceFilms
