Aerial Archive: New York 2026 edition 💌

Little snippet from my first class back with the brilliant @ky_ranney - it was mind boggling in the best way. As a loyal member of the Kyla cult, I stuffed many more Kyla classes into my month and it still didn't feel like enough Kyla time. It never will. 🤍

Our show got some local press! Off to @neccacircus tomorrow with our local performers @momentairymood @flyguydominic @ky_ranney @delgado_makes & @gorbeck_ to join our New England performers @robertbrowniejunior @elsaintheair @mcgelliot for a powerful show in honor of World Mental Health Day. Thx @brattretreat for your support to make this happen.

*exhale* Needed that. A lil’ spicy on the ankles, elbows and shoulders but such a fun challenge!

At the end of straps we were challenged with muscle-ups. Not gonna lie, I got excited. The full Monty muscle-up fail was my fourth time muscling up… so my arms were pretty shot. Will try again another day!

First & foremost, I am so freaking proud of my center spin/needle bc I’m usually a wobbly & uncentered hot mess. Also, my sensitive lil feet endured some rather spicy moves 🙌🏾

Can’t wait to repeat this next week bc there’s another skill I wanna nail that I avoided… until the last 30s of class… while in the midst of a really fast spin… & I didn’t really know what I was doing… & so I winged it & I tweaked my hip flexors. 😳

Thanks @brennabradbury for inviting George as the special guest in @ky_ranney straps today. He wasn’t terribly interested in my modified meat hook split!

Another twisty & tricky but fun one! Have I mentioned how much I love being suspended in the air while spinning & contorting my body around an unforgiving metal hoop? Counting sleeps until my next class. *le sigh*

Hard to believe @levitatestudios.nyc opened a year ago! Time sure flies when you’re having fun!!! Here’s to year two.

@brennabradbury has created a beautiful incredible sanctuary for aerialists of all levels to thrive.

This photo was at the end of @ky_ranney straps class. We are all the happiest of campers!

An added perk for me is that it’s in my neighborhood.
