Every step I take, every mile I run, is for someone who lost their life to an overdose. 🕊️

I lost one of my closest friends to an overdose, and over the years I’ve watched far too many other friends lose their lives to overdose too.

So when I crossed the finish line of my first 10K, it meant so much more to me than just completing another race.

Every mile meant something.

I ran for the people who never got another chance. For the families who know what it feels like to lose someone they love. And for the people we still have the opportunity to save.

I’m raising money for @endoverdose.tampa so we can continue providing overdose response education, naloxone, harm reduction resources, and the tools people need to know how to respond in an emergency.

Because sometimes having the right tools, the right education, and the right person there in that moment can mean someone gets another chance at life.

IF YOU DO NOTHING ELSE, PLEASE SHARE THIS POST. 🖤

Even if you aren’t able to donate, sharing this message helps it reach more people. Someone who sees it may donate. Someone may learn something that helps them save a life. Someone who has lost somebody may realize they aren’t alone.

Sometimes simply helping the message travel farther can make a difference.

This 10K was only the beginning.

Over the next several months, I’ll continue running races leading up to the Gasparilla Half Marathon on February 21, 2027, with a goal of raising $2,500 for End Overdose Tampa.

If you’re able to donate $5, $10, $20, or anything at all, I would be incredibly grateful. Every donation helps us continue putting lifesaving resources into the hands of people who may need them one day.

For my friend. For every friend I’ve lost. For every person who should still be here. And for every person we still have the chance to save.

Last night End Overdose had the opportunity to table at TK Lounge and connect with so many people in our community. 🖤

We were able to train people on how to recognize and respond to an overdose, provide FREE Naloxone, and make sure more people walked away prepared to potentially save a life.

A HUGE thank you to @otsukaredubs for stopping by our table, getting trained, and encouraging other people throughout the night to come over and get trained too. We appreciate you always showing love and supporting End Overdose and our mission. 🫶🏽

And thank you so much to @dvhq.events , @tkentertainmentvip , @tampak_vip and everyone at TK Lounge for having us out and giving us the opportunity to be there. We truly appreciate you guys!

Every person trained means one more person in our community who knows what to do when it matters.
