One Of The Greatest Decisions I Made At @famu_1887 🐍 Was Becoming An Orientation Leader 🫡!

What Started As Me Attending Orientation In 2018 🎒 As An Incoming Freshman 👦🏾 …Eventually Turned Into Me Becoming An Orientation Leader In 2020 😷 (During The Height Of COVID-19)… Then Returning In 2021 As An Orientation Lead & Office Staff Member 💻📋, Helping Train, Mentor, And Support The Next Generation Of Orientation Leaders 💫.

The Long Days 🫩, Early Mornings ☀️, Random Dance Breaks 🕺🏾💃🏽, Group Chats 💬, Training Sessions 📚, Hundreds Of Students 👨🏾‍🎓👩🏾‍🎓, And Lifelong Connections 🫱🏾‍🫲🏽 Were Worth Every Moment 🤏🏾!

Being Able To Welcome Future Rattlers Home Year After Year Helped Shape The Leader I Am Today 🫡💯. 6️⃣ Years Later, I Still Carry Those Lessons 📙 And Memories ✨ With Me Everywhere I Go…

Because Once An OL, Always An OL 🐍🧡💚!

Forever Grateful For FAMU 🏫, FAMU NSO 🧡💚, And The FAMOLY 🐍 That Helped Shape Me Into The Man I Am Today.

Shoutout To All Of My Fellow Orientation Leaders🗣️… Past, Present, And Future 🫡🐍! Thank You For Continuing To Welcome The Next Generation Of Rattlers Home 🏡🧡💚.

Strikingly Yours 🙂‍↕️🐍,
HOLlywood 🌟🫡

Last weekend we hosted our first annual WINGS Holiday Party. We welcomed 20+ kids in our program who have experienced the loss of a parent, along with their families, for an afternoon of games, activities, and personalized gifts. Every child received a filled stocking and a gift purchased just for them. We are deeply grateful to every supporter, volunteer, and partner who helped bring this day to life. #wings #holiday #happyhoildays🎄🎅🏼❄️⛄️🎁✨ #merrychristmas #nonprofitorganization

Today we honor our father’s birthday. Losing him to cancer in 2008 shaped who we are and inspired us to create WINGS Mentoring Program Inc. His legacy lives through our mission to provide guidance, comfort, and mentorship to youth navigating grief, just as we once did. #rip #inlovingmemory #🕊

WINGS Mentoring Program Inc. had the amazing opportunity to take a couple of our mentees to the FAMU vs FAU football game. A huge thank you to everyone who made this experience possible. Moments like these create lasting memories and help us continue our mission of guiding and empowering the next generation — and we look forward to many more! 🦋

Everytime you hop on social media it’s something negative happening in the political space. Let me brighten your timeline. This summer, we introduced five high school seniors to the political process and how to find their authentic voices. These students were amazing!!! So, all hope is not lost—just focus on what’s within your locus of control! For us, it was enhancing the culture! Thank you @riceuniversity 🥹🥹💙✅🫡🤓🤓 #riceuniversity #highschool #politics #fyp #explore #houston #students #speeches #etclab #culture

This summer, I had the pleasure of teaching five high schoolers some of what I’ve learned along the way in politics. On our last day of class, we made care packages for our unhoused neighbors. @slimjim you gotta admit, this was funny! Send us some!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 #unhoused #neighbors #politics #highschool #houston #houstonisd #harmony #fyp #explore #rapper #houstonkids #houstonisd #riceuniversity #riceuniversitycampus
