to the sport i love most,

it’s hard to put into words how much these last six years have meant to me. somewhere along the way, track became so much more than just a sport. it became my comfort place, my second home, and such a huge part of who i am. it gave me some of the best memories, hardest lessons, and most meaningful relationships i could’ve ever asked for.

thank you to my teammates, coaches, and everyone who made every practice, meet, bus ride, and late night worth it. thank you for being there through every high and every low, through the moments i was proud of myself and the moments i wanted to give up. no matter how hard it got, this sport always found a way to bring me back.

it’s heartbreaking knowing i’ll never put on an mnw track jersey again. i would do anything to relive these last 6 years one more time. im forever grateful for every memory, every person, and every moment this sport gave me.
