Senior Sunday a lil different this week!! I never thought my first game of senior year would also be my last or that I would ever be writing something like this. I had the chance to play volleyball surrounded by my best friends! Volleyball is such an incredible sport and my love for the game will forever be strong. This injury has made me love and appreciate it even more! Volleyball brought out a version of myself that I will cherish forever. The competitiveness, leadership, grit, and determination this sport has taught me will be brought with me through all seasons of my life!! The little girl who fell in love with sport would be so proud of all the accomplishments she has achieved! Let this be a reminder to value your sport! Never stop having fun, cheering loud, being proud of where you are, and loving the game! And don’t be so hard on yourself!😉 Thank you to the many coaches who have poured into me over the years not just helping me grow as a player but as a person! My incredible teammates for all of the memories and laughs! And most of all my family for all the support, late nights, long weekends, and time!! 🩷🩷🩷 I can’t wait to come out of this physically and mentally stronger!Thanks for all the prayers and encouragement for this journey i’m about to take on!!
