I could go on and on about how amazing this weekend, this experience was for me, but all Iโ€™ll say is thank you Jesus! Through every late night, obstacle, and bump in the road God carried me through. Iโ€™ve gained new friendships, sisters, colleagues, and Iโ€™ve grown as a business woman and an artist. I canโ€™t believe itโ€™s finally over, but this is just the beginning. GEWW 2025 was more than just a week โ€” it was a testimony. From a rough spring semester to standing tall on Exec, Iโ€™ve learned that resilience builds leaders and hard work always pays off. Welcoming the new Golden Eagle freshman class reminded me why I love to serve โ€” seeing yโ€™all step onto campus with so much energy and potential was inspiring. But my biggest blessing was my group, College Hall. Little did they know, they truly saved me. Every laugh, every moment, every connection pulled me out of a darkness I didnโ€™t think Iโ€™d shake. Yโ€™all reminded me of my light when I couldnโ€™t see it myself, and for that, Iโ€™ll forever thank every last one of you. I also have to give a huge shoutout to my Exec team โ€” Lane, Jayla, and Theresa. We went through the ups and downs together, but we made it happen and made it worth it. Yโ€™all kept me motivated and locked in, and I couldnโ€™t have asked for a better squad to lead alongside. And then thereโ€™s Jayla โ€” my right hand through it all. My girl, my partner, my balance. You were there every step of the way, and I couldnโ€™t imagine this experience without you. Thank you for being that constant reminder of why we do what we do and for always holding it down with me. This was more than leadership โ€” this was healing, growth, and purpose.
