so, you’re about to book your session and you aren’t sure what it might look like during the season you want. well I’m here to help! I’ve shot during all four seasons, including the scorching hot summers and negative temp winters!

spring - is perfect for the second semester of your senior year. if you haven’t booked your session yet, or want another session this is such a changing season! march - may can be a mix of colder temperatures, budding plants, and warmer temperatures around may! this is the time when we start to see life back in the trees/grass, too!

summer - so you’ve just finished your junior year and you want to hit the ground running, & cross one thing off your senior to do list. perfect! june-august/september bring a mix of gorgeous green grass & plants, clear blue skies, warmer temperatures, access to water locations and being tan!

fall - you’re probably wanting those gorgeous golden/brown tones in the trees, and I don’t blame you! september-october (or really whenever mother nature decides lol) is great for changing leaves, falling leaves, and throwing on your fav sweater.

winter - the “play it by ear” season! sometimes we’re blessed with the most gorgeous snowfall, and other years it’s just flat out COLD with nothing to show for it! this is a hit or miss season, but when it hits it’s GOOD.

studio - good ALL year long!! whether you want to avoid any weather situations (wind, rain, heat, cold, etc.) or have a specific backdrop/set in mind, the studio is the way to go! I often have seniors book both studio AND outdoor to get the best of both worlds.

NOW BOOKING: SPRING CLASS OF 2026 AND SUMMER/FALL CLASS OF 2027

Awesome day nerding out about the solar eclipse! We were at 90.2% here in Sterling, IL. Not too shabby and so much fun to spend the afternoon with students, sharing in this cool science-y moment together 🥰 Last pic is all credit to 📸 Cierra Proper

So proud of these guys! Jonas White ending the season in 5th place for Radio, along side Avery Moran and her Partner Kyla Smith. Both worked their heart and soul to get 5th in HDA! And Michelle Henderson getting 2nd in DI and 3rd for Prose reading, moving onto sectionals! Great season!
