Beautiful scenes captured by @kyle.kingsley on a recent trip to @karongwesafari 🐆

Here, at the foot of the Drakensberg mountains, water gathers life, wildlife roams freely, people and stories intertwine, and every moment is alive with meaning.

@mattbromleysurf ⚡️ a name synonymous with South African big wave surfing for good reason ⚡️

“34 yrs old from Kommetjie. Proud husband and dad. Been surfing since I was 6, following in my dad’s footsteps.

My first session at Dungeons was my first exposure to really big waves, it’s where I first felt real fear, and the place that ignited my passion for big deep water waves. It’s one of the most terrifying places on the planet and probably the hardest big wave in the world to surf, yet almost every session we’re out there we see and come close to those waves that you dream of. It’s majestic, rogue, seriously scary and beautiful all at the same time.”

The best kind of mornings don’t begin with an alarm.

They begin with coffee, music, and a dancefloor full of people who came to feel alive.

KINGS CAMP PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

We spent a beautiful couple of days visiting one of our favourite properties in the country. This jewel of a safari lodge is situated in the Timbavati Private Game Reserve in Limpopo, South Africa. The camp has recently been renovated and features an unbelievable underground hide that allows guests the opportunity to view and photograph the Big 5 from water level 🤯

Everything about this lodge is as it should be. The staff, the quality of information on game drives, the sheer abundance of animals, the beauty of the terrain, the rooms, the food, the bush vibes - all immaculate.

For those guests wanting additional privacy, there is a private villa, Waterbuck, that sleeps 8 on the property. Waterbuck is equipped with your own host, chef, guide, tracker and luxury open game vehicle that is at your disposal for the duration of your stay 🦁
