Year two of @the_oven_dfw was a hit! The support we watched funnel in behind @60feet6, while also seeing success stories in live time with a few of the amazing kiddos they’ve helped in their battles with cancer, will never stop amazing me.

I’m very careful not to let friends feel pressure to participate unless their heart is in it, so to see the same buddies and sponsors join our cause year after year without hesitation is both an honor and humbling all at the same time. This is bigger than Derek, me, or any single individual that jumps in the trenches with these kids to get them through another day. It’s making a lasting impact every time we rally together, and it’s an amazing thing to witness.

To all my friends at Diamond Oaks, you’re the best in the business. Thank you for everything year after year!

Finally, thank you to Derek and Monica for letting me be a tiny piece of this. The little boy that was obsessed with the Texas Rangers grew into a man that just wants to make a difference, and he gets to check all of his boxes in one day every year. I can’t wait to take this thing even bigger and better next year. Love you guys.

See y’all in 2027!

Only in Texas..turned the entire green ⛳️ into the state 🏌🏾‍♂️🤠
I played a round at The Nelson Cottonwood Valley Course today a private course at the Ritz-Carlton in Las Colinas.

We were 15 deep and instead of your typical stroke play we switched it up and ran a Stableford 5 somes taking the best 3 scores. And your boy held his own… contributed on a couple holes for the squad.

Lately I’ve been mixing in formats like Stableford best ball setups shambles even wolf and I’m realizing there are games inside the game. It makes it way more fun and actually sharpens your course management.

Now back to this ⛳️ Hole 1 is a 464 yard par 4 and the green is literally shaped like Texas.

You’ve got a bunker shaped like Oklahoma and a water feature representing the Gulf of Mexico or I guess it’s Texas now
Course plays over 6800 from the tips with a 139 slope per GHIN but honestly it didn’t feel that difficult. Greens were rolling faster than most and the design will test you.

TPC soon!
Make sure to follow your boy! 🏌🏾‍♂️🥂

Set a goal to be able to straight bar bench a goal was to get 300lbs. Well today that finally happened. So fucking pumped. Thanks to @best.friendfitness @dr_chris_skelton for helping me achieve that goal but also doesn’t happen without the group challenging me every single day!!! Let’s fucking go!!!! Come join us at @built4it_official 9:30 am Monday-Friday.

The guys have all gone home… no more games… no more seeing baseball friends… no more checking transactions everyday to see what moves teams are making. No more checking box scores around the league. It’s always hard when the season is officially over… it’s like a bad break up. ☹️your heart just aches.

Looking back on our season tho what an amazing experience. We started out pretty rocky… just trying to find the right fit for everyone. And then it happened and things got brighter…. We made playoffs and battled our way to the division finals. Unfortunately it didn’t end the way we hoped but we fought till the bitter end.

The RedHawks had so much talent, spirit and fire this season. Couldn’t be more proud to support these men! I went to 67 of their regular season games and 8 post season. That’s saying something! I wish them all a great off season and see you next year! Once a RedHawk always a RedHawk! #baseballisalove❤️
