This Sunday was a day I’ll never forget. I had the privilege of watching some of the people who mean the absolute most to me accomplish incredible feats. My mom, my sister, and so many of my closest friends got to take their well earned victory laps. It was so amazing to see them celebrate the rewards of all their hard work. As for me, I fell short of my sub 2:45 goal, but I still managed to set a new PR of 2:55:18, despite blowing up and hitting the wall. It wasn’t the result I wanted, but it’s another step in the right direction. I am forever grateful for everybody who supports me, I love you all. Onto the next!

First marathon — 2:49:48…
(6:28 per mile for 26.2 miles) Boston qualified.

Set out with one goal: qualifying for Boston Marathon in my first race. It turned into a grinder, but that was the point. Stayed with it when it got heavy. Shoutout to everyone who ran and everyone who supported — couldn’t have done it without y’all.
