Passion Camp 2024 (1/2)

What a week.

These men are everything to me and Cam and Matt (and Jeremy, welcome to the crew!) This camp was special for a lot of reasons, but here’s just a couple:

+ This was our last camp together as a group before these guys go off to college
+ Some of these guys have come to camp every summer since 6th grade
+ Some of these guys met each other a week ago and are now best friends
+ Each of these guys had such a strong hunger to know God, understand more of scripture, and call on Heaven in prayer for their friends and family
+ They led, encouraged, and challenged each other to be more of the men God’s called them to be, without being prompted to do so
+ They sought after God privately without expectation of being noticed

I don’t ever want to forget these moments, and I pray these guys don’t either. God shaped me significantly at a summer beach camp, and I believe that years down the line they will still be telling the stories of when God met them in Daytona Beach and changed their life.

Also GIANT shoutout to my lovely better half for serving her heart out the whole week. The hours that she and many others put in have direct impact on students understanding scripture better and going deeper with Jesus, and for that I am so thankful and so proud of her!

21 students, 4 leaders, truly the best week of the summer. Thank you Jesus, @pcc_students , and @passion268 for Passion Camp.

Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. 1 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬

Words fall short to accurately describe the past week. I think to Proverbs 27, where like iron sharpens iron, we sharpen each other. Over the past 7 years 🤯 our prayer for this group has been for common unity in the Spirit, eagerness for faith, and spiritual leadership. And this prayer was answered in abundance. This was for sure our best camp and I couldn’t be more grateful about how The Lord has wrapped up this season for us.

In awe that our God is great and has proven over and over that He is exactly who He says He is. Eternally grateful for all these little brothers I have gained and for @pickholtz.zach and @totalmattmoves . Completely expectant that Jesus will continue to reveal more of Himself.

Students has been the most consistent part of my life in this season and all of your friendship has blessed me more than you know. This may be the end of a beautiful chapter, there are many more ahead. Just like Ecclesiastes 133, our bonds will not be easily broken. He has good, good plans for all of you.

Trust God, Obey the Spirit, and let Him figure out the rest 🙌🏽

P.S. @quinncy you killed it this week. Sad that we only got a little bit of time with you but so happy to see your gifts on display, making a way for students at @passion_camp to see Jesus.

Wow well I can’t not describe how amazing this day was May 19th 2024. Gettin to be baptized sharing my testimony, and leading worship for the church I have grown up going to. Gods grace is so good and has showed me how much God can change your life so quick. Cause if you told me a year ago I would be getting baptized and leading worship I would have said your crazy. God has let me over come some things I never thought I would have and blessed me with new opportunities I never would have thought I would get to do. Wether that’s leading worship or just having the most amazing conversations with people about Jesus. he has blessed me with best people ever in my life. Especially including a great community with the best group of guys from @pcc_students. With great leadership from @cameron_e_harris @pickholtz.zach @totalmattmoves couldn’t thank God enough for giving them a calling to taking time out of there life to lead us and help grow in are faith as a group. Also having such a great church where everyone is truly just wanting to have a better relationship with Jesus @passioncity. Couldn’t thank God enough for every thing he has blessed me in my life, and can’t to see for what he has for me. Just know if you don’t think God can change your life he can, his power is unlimited and if you truly seek God and relationship with him he will provide for you and show you what’s best for you.
