Your branding needs two things to work: visuals that people recognize and messaging that resonates. Most people jump straight to designing their logo, picking colors, and choosing fonts. It’s the fun part. It’s tangible. It’s easy to show off. But here’s what happens when you create visuals before defining your message: You end up with beautiful branding that sends mixed signals. You need to know who you’re talking to and how you want them to feel before you create your visuals. Start with strategy. Then create visuals that support that strategy. In our latest podcast episode, Why Branding Is More Than Just Making Things Look Pretty, we’re walking through what branding actually is, the difference between brand identity and brand messaging, and where to start if you want to build a cohesive brand. Link in bio to listen, or find it wherever you listen to podcasts! 🎙️

Wrapped up @photocon_kc yesterday with the trade show, my favorite part because I got to play with many toys! Made connections with @fujifilmx_us 🥳 Hope to work with them and bring some events to the KC community!

Found it ironic that topps would choose #glovehead shots for the same player back to back yrs. But here we are with two awesome shots of @hunterrenfroe Left : 2024 series 1 golden mirror Right 2025 series 2 golden mirror The 2025 image was taken by Kansas City sport photographer @kyle_rivas during the March 28th Opening day game against the twins. Couldn’t find who took the image in the left though so if anyone knows. Please LMK. And if it was Kyle; awesome job getting him both times. #topps #baseballcards #cardboardcollector #goldenmirror

My game plan has always been to show up as my authentic self, do the work at hand, support the people around me and treat people with respect, wether it’s top brass or building staff or all those in between. Though this season ended sooner than we wanted, season 5 was cool. I saw a photo of mine in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Museum from the annual contest. Made the trip to Lambeau and Arrowhead again but got a chance to visit SoFi for the first time! Always good to see old photog connects and meet new ones! Very impressed with the ladies behind the camera I’ve met this season like @35mmadi @labrisk.p @callenamwilliams @karadurrette @stephvanwagoner @izzy_rincon @tatiana.mason @julimoore1 , best believe there is a little girl somewhere watching and being inspired by what you do! Now time to rest and do all those photog duties like getting gear cleaned and repaired, backing up photos, updating the portfolio and finding my top 10 images for my last post of the season!

Representing Michigan at the @arthritisfoundation Advocacy Summit was an experience I’ll never forget 💚 It was a privilege to share my story of battling Juvenile Arthritis & Ankylosing Spondylitis with the wonderful offices of @sengarypeters @senslotkin @repscholten and @repshrithanedar to advocate for PBM Reform and the passing of the Safe Step Act. Forever grateful for the Arthritis Foundation community fighting for the change we deserve ✨ #WorldArthritisDay #ArthritisAdvocacySummit #ArthritisFoundation
