🌧️ Rain. I think it used to be a love & hate relationship, but with time it switched to respect & love.

Yes, it’s not ideal for the gear. Even though pro gear is weather-sealed, I still don’t feel relaxed putting the camera out in the rain- @thinktankphoto rain covers are and always will be my best friends.

So what changed? I think I just understood that it’s part of the game. You need to adjust, prepare, and do your best. Respect the rain and the conditions.

The payoff? The results. I love the reflections, the water drops, the mood, the vibe.

We rounded off the season at Silverstone, with great racing across the grids. Let's take a look at the winners.

Generations Trophy turned 1 (🎂) and brought a huge field. Nick Whale started from the front...

...and three generations of the Whale family stood on the top step after 60 minutes, as Harry brought Matilda and Monty up with him! ❤️

It was a breathtaking thrill throughout the Royal Automobile Club Pall Mall Cup...

...and the Jeremy Cottingham/James Littlejohn Daytona Cobra earned the victory after two hours of frenetic action.

Jonathan Bailey was a winner in Historic Touring Car Challenge, and was mighty all weekend in his Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R.

Kyle Tilley, Spencer Shinner and...

...Alex Brundle had a mighty battle in the Stirling Moss Trophy. Brundle, in the Lister-Jaguar he shared with Gary Pearson, emerged victorious.

In the Royal Automobile Club Woodcote Trophy, Lukas Halusa topped an all-D-Type podium, whilst Gary and John Pearson took HMRN Pre-'63 GT victory in their E-Type.

Chris and Andy Middlehurst took the first victory of the weekend, topping Saturday's HTCC podium in their mighty GT-R.

Evie Russell took home four Goodyears courtesy of HP Tyres. The award is presented to a member of the Generations Trophy grid every weekend, in recognition of hard work and great racing spirit. Few being more joy to the paddock than Evie and the Russell family!

Like father, like son. There is nothing quite like the Generations Trophy- a proper family affair where every entry is shared across different generations of the same family.

With roots going right back to Formula Ford, Charles Tilley teamed up with his son Kane behind the wheel of our #18 MGB today. The car looked fantastic out on the Silverstone GP loop, and the pair put in a faultless shift to bring it safely home across the line. 🏁

Silverstone never disappoints. Truly an iconic circuit on the motorsport calendar, and it always brings out brilliant people.

We’ve had a mega Saturday here with Motor Racing Legends.
The absolute highlight was the combined Royal Automobile Club Woodcote Trophy, Stirling Moss Trophy, and MRL Pre ‘63 GT race - proper edge-of-your-seat stuff right down to the final lap. Huge drive from Kyle Tilley to bring the Lotus XV home in P2 across the line!

Plenty more racing still to come tomorrow. Roll on Sunday.

Six hours down at Petit Le Mans!

Rain, cautions, and tire strategy have all played a major role in the race so far, but most importantly, Naveen, Jacob, and Ferdi have kept it clean and kept us in contention as we race toward sunset.

With four hours remaining, the action is only going to heat up as the sun goes down. Tune in for the final hours of MOTUL Petit Le Mans!

You’ve gotta be just a little crazy to be in racing. 😉

FP2 is complete, but the real fun starts after the sun goes down.

Night Practice gives us a chance to prepare for the conditions we’ll face in the closing hours of Saturday’s 10-hour race. We’ll see you after dark. 🌙
