Good Morning everybody! In honor of today’s wedding, it’s time for...
WEDDING TIP #3 🤍
Write a list of your priorities. What is the most important to you on your wedding day? Is it the photos, the dress, the flowers, the guests? Write them down in order of what is most important to least important. This will help when you are working on your budget! Realizing that some things are more important than others will be SO useful when making decisions on where to put your money.
For us, photos were the MOST important. They are the things that last forever. So we decided to invest the biggest chunk of our budget into photos and video! The less important things to us became things we are just doing ourselves!
What is the most important thing to you on your wedding day? ✨

Have you guys ever been in that funk where you are sad for absolutely no reason at all? You’re sad at the world and society and everything in general? That’s how I felt yesterday. I was sad at all the disgusting things that exist. Rape, murder, the fact that people don’t have basic human rights. There is so much wrong with the world. But guess what? There’s also so much good.
So here are 5 steps to get out of that sad funk you’ve been in:
1. Write a list of all the good things that are happening in the world. It could be 2 things and it could be 200! Whatever you want.
2. Meditate or do yoga. It is crazy the difference having these in your everyday lives can make.
3. GO OUTSIDE!!! I cannot stress this one enough. There is something about just being in nature and breathing fresh air that seems to make everything better.
4. Distract yourself. Go see a friend or watch a movie. Whatever it is to get your mind focused on something happier!
5. Know that it’s okay to be sad. Recognize your feelings, know it is fine to feel that way, and then move on!

Over the last year I’ve probably put more time into fixing up this house than I have my day job. We’re nowhere near finished, and this isn’t the only thing we’ve been working on, but it’s probably the part I’m most proud of. I’ve had help from friends and family and I can’t thank them enough. Hopefully I get to enjoy a lot more time with friends and family on this bad boy for many years to come. Deck warming party coming soon! Special shout out to @kyleborcik !! On to the next project..... #bigdeckenergy #brazilianhardwood #tigerwood #deckwise #deckwiseipeoil #deckwiseipeclip #brazilianwooddepot
