POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I spend my life chasing rare things. Turns out the rarest thing I ever found wasn’t a coin. ❤️

I’ve held gold that survived centuries, coins that crossed oceans, and pieces so scarce that only a handful of collectors will ever own one.

But none of it compares to this.

I’ve never won the lottery. I married my best friend, and together we get to raise four kids we once only dreamed about.

That feels like winning to me.

Somewhere along the way, life got very busy. Premier Rare Coins grew. The goals got bigger. The days got longer. There is always another deal, another coin to research, another problem to solve, another goal to chase.

Then you get a night like this.

A Florida sunset. Kids running through the yard. No appointment. No auction. No price guide. Nothing to buy, grade, sell or negotiate.

Just a few minutes where everything you worked for is standing right in front of you.

And one day, the yard will be quiet. The toys will disappear. The kids will have lives and families of their own. Nights that feel ordinary right now will become the memories I’d give anything to step back into for five minutes.

That’s why I’m trying to notice them while they’re happening.

I love rare coins because they connect us to history. They survived wars, shipwrecks, empires and generations of owners before somehow making it into our hands.

Family makes you think about history differently.

You stop thinking only about what survived before you, and start thinking about what you’re building that will survive after you.

The business matters. The collection matters. The goals matter.

But this is the reason behind all of it.

If my kids grow up remembering sunsets like this, laughing together in the backyard, knowing Mom and Dad were there and that they were loved beyond measure, I’ll consider that a collection worth more than anything I could ever put in a safe.

What’s the one thing in your life you wouldn’t trade for any amount of money?

12 YEARS OLD AT 12:00 MIDNIGHT… INSIDE HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS. 🎂👻

Most kids ask for cake at midnight.

AJ wanted to go into the Upside Down. 😂

My oldest, Avarey Jay “AJ” Behan, officially turned 12 at midnight while we were at @horrornightsorl at @universalorlando — and she had ONE birthday mission:

Her first haunted house had to be @strangerthingstv Stranger Things 5. 🔴⚡️

Birthday sash on.
Confidence level: 💯.
Straight into Hawkins to face Vecna, the Demogorgons and the Mind Flayer.

And she did it! 😂👏

She came out of her FIRST HHN house feeling pretty brave, so naturally we said…

“Alright AJ, ready for another one?”

Big mistake. 🤣

House #2:
Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control. 🎪🤡💀

Jack the Clown + Dr. Oddfellow apparently had a very different definition of “Happy Birthday.”

Let’s just say…

Stranger Things created the confidence.
Jack & Oddfellow removed it.

And that officially concluded AJ’s haunted-house tour for the evening. 😂😂😂

What an absolutely EPIC way to turn 12.

Watching my oldest grow up is happening way too fast, but getting to be there for memories like this is what being Dad is all about.

You’ll probably forget a lot of birthday presents over the years…

But I have a feeling you’ll remember turning 12 at midnight inside Halloween Horror Nights forever. ❤️

Happy Birthday, AJ.

Daddy loves you more than you’ll ever know.

And congratulations on surviving the Upside Down…

We’ll discuss Jack & Oddfellow again when you’re 13. 😂👻

🥇 FROM GRANDPA TYING HIS BELT… TO STANDING ON TOP OF THE PODIUM. 🥋🏆

What a day for little Jeffrey.

The Reel starts with one of my favorite moments — his grandfather helping him put his belt on before the tournament. Then it’s time to warm up, step onto the mats, compete, get the takedowns, hear the referee call it…and watch that hand go up. 💪

Jeffrey competed across three divisions and placed in ALL THREE. 🔥

🏆 GOLD & SILVER coming home.
🥋 6 WINS
🤝 1 DRAW (lost by decision)
💪 2 LOSSEs
🏅 PLACED IN ALL 3 DIVISIONS

But as proud as I am of the medals, I’m even more proud of watching him compete.

Learning how to walk onto the mat by yourself.
Learning how to stay calm under pressure.
Learning how to win with humility.
Learning how to lose, shake hands, learn from it and get right back out there.

Those lessons are worth more than any medal.

And then after all those matches… ending the day standing on the #1 spot on the podium. 🥇

Seeing Grandpa put his belt on at the beginning and then seeing Jeffrey standing there with medals around his neck at the end made this one pretty special.

Keep working, little man. ❤️

The belt gets tied before the match. The confidence gets earned on the mat.

🥋 Huge thank you to the coaches and everyone at @heltonsilvabjj for everything you’re teaching these kids — discipline, confidence, respect, toughness and sportsmanship.

🎵 Eye of the Tiger was the only song that made sense for this one. 🐅🔥
