Ty has finished the MTC and is now in Guatemala. He is off to a great start and already gave someone a Book of Mormon in the airport. I am so proud of this kid. They told him his apartment might not have water but they can buy bags of water to shower with. 😬

Today was definitely one of the hardest days of my life. I had to say goodbye to my wingman for two years. It’s crazy how you can actually feel your heart break. I’m not going to lie I have had a lot of selfish thoughts about telling Ty not to go. But if you know Ty you know he is meant to be a missionary. He has the biggest heart of anyone I know. He truly loves people and I know he is going to do amazing things in Guatemala and bring so much joy and happiness to the people there. One of the hardest things was watching Jordan say goodbye to his best friend. That absolutely ripped my heart out. I have been truly blessed to have been able to travel the country with these boys for basketball and I have core memories that will be with me forever. Don’t get me wrong they did get us kicked out of a lot of stores but I will always cherish those memories. I love you @tyson.horsley more than you will ever know and I couldn’t be anymore proud to be your Dad. Now put your head down and go to work. #noregreats

Happy birthday to my little dancer. I can’t believe you are already 8 years old. I love watching you do what you love and we all know that’s dance. You are definitely a little sassy one. You might be 8 but you act like you are 16. I think it’s funny that your friends that you always want to hang out with are the boys girl friends and I know they absolutely adore you. I love you kiddo more than you will ever know.

God gave me the best experience I needed because it was also the hardest one ever

when I prayed for Gods hand he sent me many hands, the hands of others. I have loved every single person I have met in Vegas.
