What are my take aways after spending 3 days with the nation’s top talent in the industry?
.
Here’s what I learned from the @curatedhomeevent which was deeply inspiring:

• Collaboration is the work between vision and execution when creating sculpture
• If you want to create a Ferrari, you can’t expect to pay for a Ford
• When you get good at your craft, there are only so many more spots in your portfolio. Be selective who fills those spots.
• Obsess over the details and create a story with the design
• How we solve problems and deliver as a team player is more important than our fee
• You build your reputation with every project, every client, every builder, every architect, and every vendor. Play nice in the sandbox.
.
Hands down, one of the most defining experiences of my career — one that shifted everything in the best way! Grateful, inspired, and ready for what’s next. Huge thanks to Josh Burchette and @realhardwoodfloors for organizing such talent. Looking forward to South Carolina!
