This summer has been filled with so much love. I am so grateful to have gotten to serve at CHBR for another summer. I learned how limitless our God really is and how limited I am. This summer thought me what truly seeking after God looks like. And I have been blessed with so many sweet friendships! Until next year!

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭

This summer I came in with no clue what to expect, but looking back, it has easily been one of the best choices I’ve ever made to walk into God’s calling to serve this summer!

This job has been heartbreaking at times, but it’s also brought me the greatest joy I’ve ever found! It’s heartbreaking because for every camp that came to Central Hills, we had 51 hours with them…

51 hours to pour our entire self into them as hard as we possibly can, to show them the love Christ has given us, to pray for them every single day, and to just learn their hearts. That short period of time is all we have, and we may never see a lot of those kids ever again, but even in that short span, I’ve seen God do so many amazing things.

He not only did many works in me to grow my faith this summer, but by His grace, He used me as a vessel to guide multiple campers through conversations this summer, of which many resulted in witnessing them give their yes and their life to Christ with my very own eyes. There isn’t a greater blessing I could ever have asked for, for our God is able to do FAR more abundantly than we ask or think! - Eph. 3:20

Throughout it all, I’ve had some of the lowest lows, and ever higher highs. I’ve met so many amazing people that I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to have served alongside this summer, and I made so many lifelong friends!

Thank you Lord for the opportunity you gave me this summer, and even more for using me the way You have. Even being the lowest of low and feeling so unprepared coming in, you still chose me and used me for your glory and to build your kingdom, and I can never praise you enough for it!

Thank you Central Hills for the most amazing summer of my life!

Little recap of camp since we are over halfway done. I am so grateful that I get to be a part of this group! These people are what I prayed for and this place holds a special place in my heart. These past couple of weeks have taught us how strong we are, how to rely on each other, and more importantly, how LIMITLESS our God is! Nursing isn’t just a job to me, it’s a calling. A job that I have grown to understand that treating and caring for people is what I was meant to do, especially for kids. I hope and pray that God continues to shine through me on these kids and my future patients! Praise God for his continuous blessings on me, this place, and these people! Chi Ho Beta Rho
