Here’s how our YAC Cookout Memorial Day celebration went!

We had games, food, fellowship and most importantly the joy of the Lord despite the challenges.

To top it off, we had our two teams face head to head in a competitive 7V7 Powderpuff football game! 🏈

Make sure to join us for our next gathering diving into our summer series — you don’t wanna miss it! ✨

Fellas, tomorrow night we gather again.

After our powerful joint study through Hebrews 11, the men are coming together again to dive into Mark 9:23 and what it truly means to live with unwavering faith in God.

“Everything is possible for the one who believes.” We’re talking real faith, the kind that trusts God beyond comfort, beyond fear, and beyond circumstances. Expect real conversations, brotherhood, accountability, and a challenge to fully surrender doubt and walk boldly in belief.

This isn’t just about hearing the Word, it’s about becoming men who actually live it out daily. Iron sharpens iron. Faith grows in community. And God is still moving.

Wednesday, May 20th
7 PM
Tumlin Park (400 Chestnut Hill Rd SW)

Pull up ready.
Bring your Bible.
Bring a brother.

What does community look like?

It looks like saints gathering together to learn God’s Word.

It looks like believers encouraging one another to become more like Christ.

It looks like praying for one another.

It looks like supporting each other through life’s trials.

Community is something the Lord desires for us to have. In Scripture, He instructs us not to forsake the gathering of the saints (Hebrews 10:25).

This Christian walk was never meant to be done alone, it was meant to be lived in community.

And we have one for you. Join us on
Mondays, you won’t regret it!

Our prayer, testimony, and worship night was powerful!

We came together to petition the Lord in prayer, dive into His Word, and boldly share our testimonies. What we witnessed wasn’t just a gathering, it was a move of God.

We were reminded in Revelation 12:10-11 of Jesus’ authority and His victory over evil. The accuser has been cast down. Christ reigns, and the victory is already secured.

We overcome by:
- The blood of the Lamb.
- The word of our testimony.
- And a life fully surrendered to Him.

We are not fighting for victory… we are living from victory.

No matter the attack, the lies, or the past, the enemy is already defeated. So we stand firm.

We speak truth boldly.
We walk in authority.
The victory is ours in Christ.

What does your Bible look like? 📖

Before last night’s Bible study, we asked our community to show us their Bibles, pages highlighted, notes in the margins, and stories of time spent in the Word. Every Bible tells a story.

Last night at YAC we walked through Philippians 4 and were reminded what a mature life in Christ really looks like.

Paul calls believers to stand firm in the Lord, pursue unity over pride, and choose to rejoice in Christ regardless of circumstances. Even while writing from prison, Paul shows that real joy isn’t based on comfort, it’s rooted in our relationship with Jesus.

We also talked about the cure for anxiety, bringing everything to God in prayer and trusting Him to guard our hearts with a peace that surpasses understanding. When we fix our minds on what is true, pure, and worthy of praise, God shapes our thoughts and our lives.

And one of the biggest reminders was this: contentment is learned. Paul experienced abundance and hardship, yet he could say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” meaning Christ gives us the strength to endure every season.

A life in Christ is marked by unity, joy, peace, contentment, and generosity. No matter the season, we can stand firm because our hope isn’t in circumstances, it’s in Jesus.

Hebrews 10:24–25 reminds us not to forsake gathering together, but to encourage one another in the faith. We were never meant to walk with Christ alone.

Young Adults in Christ is a place where you can come fellowship, build genuine community, and grow deeper in your relationship with God through His Word. It’s a space to be encouraged, strengthened, and surrounded by other believers pursuing Christ.

If you’re looking for community and a place to grow in your faith, join us tonight for our gathering. We’d love to see you there! #WeLoveMondays

This is community.

Growing in our faith together. Studying the Word. Interceding for one another.

If you’re looking for a community rooted in truth, surrender, and real discipleship, join us next Monday, March 9th.

You don’t want to miss it. 🤍
