Brady Black for fall/winter ‘26

Idaho cowboy and horse trainer @brady.e.black has spent his life in the saddle, and it shows in the way he rides and the way he works with his horses. A familiar face from a few of our recent shoots, Brady joined us again in Montana for Fall 2026, this time bringing three of his own horses along for the ride.

Halle Cooley for fall/winter ‘26

Born and raised on a ranch outside Austin, Texas, @hallejolene has spent most of her life in the saddle. She started riding at six, took up breakaway roping, and went on to compete in rodeos. A horse lover through and through, she still calls the family ranch home, where she helps care for the land and her horses.

For Halle, being a cowgirl is about more than riding. It’s about hard work, discipline, and a deep respect for the animals and land. All things that came naturally to her on the set of our Fall 2026 shoot in Montana.

Elizabeth Elam for fall/winter ‘26

Born in Texas and raised in Oklahoma, @elamelizabeth grew up rooted in Western culture. From cattle drives and rodeos to horseback riding back home, life in the saddle has always been part of her story. After leaving Oklahoma, she landed in Los Angeles, where she now also dedicates her time to environmental advocacy and connecting communities with the outdoors.

We had the pleasure of bringing Elizabeth back to her Western roots for our Fall 2026 shoot in Montana. A bit of a full-circle moment, as she put it, and one we were glad to be part of.

@mutimer.co - “Canary on the Frontier”

“Mutimer wrote us this premise: ‘The West is dying. Cowboys are no longer in vogue. Ranches have been replaced with Dance Halls. Gunslinging standoﬀs, exchanged for dance floor routines.’

Enough said. We reside in Montana, where their surreal premise feels rather poignant and close to home as our state is ever changing. We replied with a 1 page script and handful of reference images and their creative team told us to get to work.

We entertained the genre twist with nostalgia based in a firm sense of present, therefore it was only natural to bring a disco sensibility to the old western film ranch. Having also done plentiful western aesthetic films we wanted to bend the genre visual language, hence the vertical anamorphic and center bias framing.

After numerous visits to the location we knew we had a film we were going to be stoked on! Everything played on the day and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Shoutout to DP David Okolo for coming out from Barcelona, Editor Dusten Zimmerman for crushing the 2 day turnaround, and classical dude Cameron Marygold for turning our vision into a look.” - Directors, Andreas Attai & Kyle Niego

We’ve lost one of the greats. I had the honor of spending two weeks with Seref in Turkey in 2022.

A retired English teacher and a father, Seref was a deeply knowledgeable dealer in antique textiles from Central Asia and around the world. He was a romantic when it came to beautiful, aged things and the hands that made them. A true conduit of history.
We ducked through narrow corridors as he exchanged nods with shopkeepers. In the crowded pathways of the city, he moved with a quiet authority that seemed to part the chaos around him.
Together, we sifted through pieces of the past, held together by woven yarn. Sitting beside me, he explained where each textile came from and told stories of his travels—trunks smuggled across borders, trust earned with other dealers, and the lengths he’d gone to trace a piece back to its origins.
I hadn’t imagined the life of a textile dealer could hold so much adventure, or be carried with such cool and grace.

I grew up fishing, but last week was my first time fly fishing. I didn’t catch a darn thing, but fortunately @34yearsmaster did. And we had whiskey after, so that’s always a win. Scenery was a 12 out of 10, can’t wait to get back to Montana soon. 📸: @kyleniego
