A wedding planner’s own, exactly where it made the most sense. @giovannahorist got ready with her sisters inside her childhood Michigan lake house, then said “I do” in the backyard beside the beach where they spent their summers.🥹🌊🚤

Deanna & Ian are MARRIED!! 🩵

What an absolutely incredible wedding day at @offshorerooftop on @navypierchicago !

From the moment Deanna walked down the aisle, these two were completely locked in on one another. There was laughter, there were happy tears, and there were so many beautiful little moments where it felt like the family and friends surrounding them simply disappeared and it was just the two of them.

Their mothers shared a beautiful reading during the ceremony, Deanna and Ian shared the words they had written from the heart, and every part of their ceremony reflected the friendship, laughter, communication, and incredible partnership they have built together.

And can we talk about this setting?! The Chicago skyline, Lake Michigan, that gorgeous summer sky, and the stunning florals from @hmrdesigns created an unforgettable backdrop for their Offshore Rooftop wedding.

Giovanna and the entire @wedicity_ team executed every detail beautifully. A huge shoutout to the @okynegroup team for making sure the ceremony audio was perfect and for the gorgeous live strings that added so much to the atmosphere. It was also such a pleasure working alongside their talented photography @judyandgavin and videography @kylepetitmedia teams to capture it all.

Days like today remind me how incredibly lucky I am to do this work. I get to stand beside wonderful people like Deanna and Ian, tell their story, watch them promise forever to one another, and then have the extraordinary privilege of pronouncing them married.

Congratulations, Deanna and Ian! 💛

On the day you make it forever, make it incredible.

2 years ago in the valleys and on the coast of Big Sur for Nichole + NJ’s elopement🫶🏻

I remember the day went how some elopement days do - a few bumps in the road with lots of laughs and memories made along the way🖤
