I was going to write a short caption for this post, but I decided it deserved a little more. Three months ago, I hopped on a plane because I wanted to do something that scared me. I didn’t want fear to stop me from trying something new and stepping outside of my comfort zone. And boy, am I glad I did.

The last 92 days in Wisconsin have been some of the hardest days of my life. I chose to do door-to-door sales because I knew I would hate it and guess what? I did. I have never disliked a job more lol. I’ve been stretched in countless ways and have shed many tears. But above all else, I’ve seen God’s hand each and every day. I met incredible people and had experiences and interactions that completely changed my life. At the beginning of the summer, I put a quote on my lock screen:

“You can do hard with Jesus, or you can do hard alone. That is your choice. But when you do hard with Jesus Christ, the hard becomes holy.”

I am grateful for hard days because I know someone who can make them good. I know someone who can use hard days to make me better. I know someone who lived hard days so ours could be easier. I am grateful for a patient, loving Savior who is aware of each one of us. He knows me. He knows you. He walks with each of us through every hard day and every good day.

If there is something in your life that scares you, do it. The only way you can fail is if you never get on the plane.
